From Chapter 7 of The Scarlet Horseman...

"'Oh brave new world/that has such people in it.' That Shakespeare sure writes elegant, don't he?"

Glad someone's getting a gas out of the squeezings of Shakespeare Wilkerson's asides as the Bard of the sagebrush.
That kind of humor doesn't fall off just any haystack.

With each passing chapter, I am liking G-Men Never Forget less and less. One recycled Republic cliche after another, followed by a stock footage cliffhanger. A chore to sit through this for 13 min. a week.

Don't you like the photography though? It's very nicely shot.

Whoops. I thought I was being helpful and deleted your duplicate post, which makes your punchline moot. And don't you hate having a moot punchline?

And who th' hell watches serials for the cinematography? :D

I'd rather have a moot waistline.

"who th' hell watches serials for the cinematography?"

Yeah, but when it's "Mott the Hoople" instead of "Moot the Hopple" there's no joke, now, is there? Gimme a break, there was scarcely a joke to begin with!

From chapter 11 of Blackhawk:

"You don't want to tangle with the Mexican police. They're GOOD."

Last night was chapter 10 of The Phantom Creeps. Zorka and Monk board the foreign spies' ship but first Zorka uses the Invisibela belt Once on board the invisible Bela casts a shadow. One of the spies says, "Look a shadow. There's no man to make it!" Prompting another spy to tell him, "You're drunk!" The spies don't believe Zorka is dead, so Monk takes them to the hideout, where Zorka unleashes the robot on them. Then we get to see the close-up robot footage again. It seems as if no body can hold onto the hot potato meteorite, but maybe.......

......Terry Kent from SOS Coast Guard....chapter 10. Bela as Boroff has all of his light bulbs filled with disintegrating gas taken from their hide out as the feds are onto them. Borg booby traps the warehouse to explode and of course Jean and Snapper stumble into the place right before the explosion. Terry to the rescue of course. After the explosion, the 3 find one crate of light bulbs. One of Boroff's henchmen report that all 199 cartons of light bulbs are secure. Boroff exclaims, "You fool, there vere 200!!!" Ya know, it's hard to find good inventory henchmen when ya need 'em. Later, some of Boroff's henchmen kidnap a scientist and put him into a delivery truck. As the truck pulls away it goes over a curb, causing a bottle of hydrochloric acid to turn over and leave a smoking trail down the road. Henchmen.....the downfall of evil doers in the 20th century.
