This is stuff not in Slapstick Encyclopedia, I suspect assembled by the same people. Some films are delicious, others, like "The Bond," just rare -- but if you like silent comedy this is a steal at any price, and note that the price is great. Panzer's highest recommendation.
Life is just a bowl of cherries, it's too mysterious, don't take it serious...

I began watching this set backwards; Forgotten Sweeties is frankly a fairly week Charley Chase number, but... Sold at Auction, directed by Chase and starring Snub Pollard, is filled with more outrageous sight gags than a Roadrunner cartoon. Incredible comedy short.
