Coming from Sony for Halloween: a Sam Katzman boxed set, which will include Creature with the Atom Brain (1955), The Giant Claw (1957, and one of my fave bad movies), The Werewolf (1956, which originally played theatres with Earth vs. the Flying Saucers), and Zombies of Mora Tau (1957). There will be a bonus disc with a cartoon, an as-yet-unnamed sci-fi-themed short subject (I am personally hoping for Flying Saucer Daffy), and an episode of the 1951 serial Mysterious Island. |

A Sam Katzman boxed set?!? Finally, one of the greatest producers in Hollywood history finally gets his proper due! Right. Will I buy the set? Of course - "The Giant Claw" is one of my alltime favorite "bad" movies, and has been near the top of my dvd want list for years! |
