I love watching those "celebrity" cartoons with my pals and shouting out the names of the various stars. Everybody can get Edward G. Robinson or Johnny Weissmuller, but who can be the first to identify Irwin S. Cobb? Anyway, here's a look at one such cartoon. Great stuff. http://2719hyperion.blogspot.com/2007/09/b...od-studios.html |

Warner Bros. certainly did a lot of these celebrities in cartoons things. I suspect they're a lot more well known. I wonder if anybody has ever don the same matchups of celebrities caricatures to their sources for the WB stuff? |

And remember Warner Brothers even inserted Errol Flynn in a Bugs Bunny Cartoon as Robin Hood welcoming him to Sherwood Forest...... |

Ah, Rabbit Hood. One of my very favorite Bugs Bunny outings. "Don't you worry, never fear...Robin Hood will soon be here..." |

My Favorites were the Three Stooges in Porky in Wackyland, Hollywood steps Out and the one where Porky smokes a cigar and they come up in a puff of smoke and poke him in the eye. I have always like the cartoons like Do you have any Castles where the characters in Books come to life at Midnight. |
