Today (Friday) on TCM they showed Revenge of the Zombies and King of the Zombies...................I was quite stunned when I played back my Tivo. the print quality of both were quite amazing considering the usual prints that float around of many Monogram films( especially the print of Revenge of the Zombies) anyone else catch these and care to comment... also of interest the film Revenge had an MGM opening perhaps this will be released in the near future on DVD... |

King of the Zombies was released by Roan Group with Revolt of the Zombies. They do great restorations. King of the Zombies is a blast to watch.Mantan is great in it. Revenge of the Zombies, I never even heard of before.I recorded it but have not had a chance to watch yet.TCM sometimes throws a nice big bone to thier viewers with films like these but its sad it always is in october when they show them. |

I love both these films. They feature one of my all-time favorite comedians, Mantan Moreland. He really gets some great lines. Particularly in King of. |
