So far the only title I'm sure of is 28 Days Later. At the time it came out on DVD I had purchased a bunch of other titles and it didn't get watched right away. So I decided to just leave it until Halloween. I'm pretty busy getting ready for the next flock of chickens so that may be the only title I'll watch.

I'm not sure of my lineup either, but I know that it will at least include Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, a tradition started ever since I bought the movie on VHS.

Well, last night, I watched Godard's Breathless, which opens with a dedication to, of all things, Monogram Pictures. Who produced The Ape and the Mr. Wong series. So let's count it as a Karloff movie.

And right at this moment, I'm watching Sansho the Bailiff. So far, I haven't been able to make a Karloff connection with THIS film (unless his Mr. Wong shows up), but I'll keep watchin'...

(And by the way, is this a great world, where you can bring classic movies WITH you on the road?!? DAMN I love the 21st century. I mean, politics and wars and global warming and hardships for the working class aside, of course.)

I'd be interested in your thoughts on this one. It didn't quite work for me.

Oddly enough, while I recognized the brilliance of Breathless, it didn't quite work for me. While Sansho the Bailiff wrenched my heart and kept me enthralled for all 2 hours and 4 minutes of its running time.

Well, I haven't seen Breathless, but I guess this means I'll end up loving it.

I was about to start on 28 Weeks Later when I realized it was long enough since I'd seen the original that I might have forgotten some details that would make a difference in the sequel so I watched both 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. As it turned out 28 Weeks Later didn't involve the same characters. So it wouldn't have mattered. Still the original was worth the rewatch.

I may still watch something else before I go to bed even if it is after midnight and won't technically be watched on Halloween. ;)
