Seems to me this was asked around here not too long ago, and I had trouble answering 'cause I don't know what a "horror" film is. Is Psycho "horror"? If so, what about M? If M, what about Strangers on a Train? King Kong has a lot of monsters in it; I wouldn't call it a horror film, though.Or even a monster movie! I wish somebody could define the term "horror picture" for me. I guess from what is traditionally defined (whatever that means) as horror, some of my faves are: Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Curse of the Demon, Psycho, House on Haunted Hill, I was a Teenage Werewolf, Masque of the Red Death, Bedlam, The Body Snatcher, the '32 Jekyll & Hyde. There, ten off the top of my head. |
