Revered in the UK Posts: 11,070 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: August 31, 2005	As part of the upcoming sensational 58th Annual Monogram Week festivities, Feb. 11-17 2008, In The Balcony will be sponsoring a special 126th Birthday Tribute to the great BELA LUGOSI, the actor who gave Monogram so much of its luster. Yes, it's the BelaBration 2008! All Monster Kids are invited to join the festivities, which will include a gala parade, the annual Monogram Week Get Acquainted Dinner Dance with live music from Fred "Disco Hands" Martini and his Fat Ass Twisters, the crowning of Ms. Monogram 2008, and other assorted appropriate events. And don't forget, every theatre screen in the nation will be showing Monogram films that week, give or take a theatre. You're invited to hold your Monogram Week events in your own city or town, with special emphasis on those films starring this year's honoree at the BelaBration 2008! Will the kick-off parade again be held in the grand ballroom of Castle Gravy or will it be down Main Street of El Rancho Gravy. For you new members of The Balcony Monogram Week is a huge blowout exceeded in it's size by only the Super Bowl. I thought Lumpy Gravy just outdid himself in the planning of the enormous banquet the final night when Miss Monogram 2008 was crowned. I have heard that some theaters around the country are wanting out this year simply because they can't handle the huge sellout audiences that are planning on attending? Ticketmaster has indicated they are having difficulty keeping up with the demand. Good luck again this year Gravy this is indeed a spectacular celebration of the movie industry that should not be missed. Kan

The party's pretty much just breakin' up now... We have crowned Ms. Monogram 2008, and screened a couple more Lugosi Monogram films, and we're cleanin' up after the festivities... I'll go post some pics...

Love the cracks about George Zucco and the floats bumping into each other! I'm picturing the parade route down Akron's main drag, Market Street. Any high school bands like the Parma High White Sox marching? Looking forward to exclusive coverage of "Monogram Week 2009."
