Thanks, guys. After looking through 3 pages of variations of BLACKHAWK DOWN, I gave up. It's not listed at Amazon North yet, but here's hoping.

BLACKHAWK

There you go Bats.
I was happy enough with the Mill Creek Shadow to order this as an upgrade to my copy.

Thanks, Andy. As with Mill Creek's SHADOW serial, I may have to order this from Amazon South, as the latter never did show up on Amazon North.

Oh, nobody thanked ME for posting the link! :-P

I like the serial but it's disappointing if you (as I do) love the comic books. They could've really done something special but it's rather routine. Yet fun.

Hey! I said "thanks guys". That was directed towards Rodney for posting the DVD cover, and to you for posting the link.

And I think ALL or nearly all the Columbias of the period had sub-titles, e.g., "The Great Adventures of Captain Kidd, King of the Pirates" and "Captain Video, Master of the Stratosphere" and so on.

Columbia started the practice in 1946, but not all serials after that had a sub title, I found nine that didn't, SUPERMAN, ATOM MAN VS. SUPERMAN, BATMAN AND ROBIN, MYSTERIOUS ISLAND, PIRATES OF THE HIGH SEAS, ADVENTURES OF SIR GALAHAD, BRICK BRADFORD, CODY OF THE PONY EXPRESS, and JACK ARMSTRONG.

Thank you Jerry Blake, Operator 99 for the frame grabs in your site.

Ditto the applause for Mill Creek-- got my Blackhawk today and it looks stellar. Cheap Katzman serial but that's not their fault.
