Years ago, I read about the impact that King Kong had in its early 1950s re-release. Very interesting stuff! Now, the Greenbriar Picture Shows has a whole feature on the story.

I have read that the tremendous success of King Kong in Asia in the 1950s gave birth to Godzilla, which gave birth to a whole lot o' things.
