The Los Angeles Times website has a wonderful daily look at pages from the archives of the LA Times and other papers.

They usually have a look at the theatre ads and the comics page along with some interesting stories of the past. (They recently had a number of reprints of articles on Raymond Chandler that appeared over the years).

Take a look at this page of theatre ads. I love the ad art and the double feature combinations.

I found out that you can't enlarge the ad by using the link I posted above. You can enlarge it by going to the main blog page of The LA Times Daily Mirror blog page and scrolling down to the ad.
