Jacko's doing a concert in England - I understand he owes $100 million, but it 'ain't necessarily so'!
He should be put in a cage in an old fashioned freak show. Perhaps a Tod Browning movie too.

That is your esteemed Webmaster, circa 1975.

Can any Balconeer pick out which one of the Weimer septuplets is Gravy?

The one watching "Voodoo Man". Either that or the one who sprouts excessive body hair under the pale rays of a full moon.

The scary thing is, there IS a resemblance!
Only if there are red-haired werewolves.

Jan & Dean's Little Old Lady from Pasadena (1964) is a mystery in that Dean didn't perform; it may've bin P.F. Sloan who went on to write Barry Maguire's Eve of Destruction said Brian Matthew on BBC Radio 2's Sounds of th Sixties this morning!

Also mentioned was Dane, Jorgen Ingman who got to #2 for 2 weeks in America with Apache (1961), a B-side in England where the Eurovision Song Contest was staged in 1962; he won; Americans, for some reason, have never done well in Eurovision! :D

John Leyton was appearing as a pop star in Harpers West One and Jeff Goddard was asked to write a song for Leyton to perform on the TV show at the store’s record department opening – he composed ‘at breakneck speed’ and came up with this cracker for Joe Meek – one of my favorites on Top Rank Records!

Also Brian Matthew played Lulu singing Daytripper from Love Loves to Love Lulu – I got that LP! :D

Go man, go!

Get down! :D
