This has to be my favourite comedy western ever! John Wayne is fantastic. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the lovely, sensational Maureen O'Hara! Only joking!

When John Wayne is leaving on the wagon at the end, did anyone notice that Maureen O'Hara is strangely masculine?. Running, FAST, to the wagon, it looks like a stunt double(From the back, a man dressed as a woman).

Looking on a Maureen website, I discovered that she sometimes does some of the stunts herself and that she has an athletic streak. So it must be her.

The Duke was always underrated as a comic actor.
