Just finished "The Dark Hour" from Chesterfield.

Really enjoyable and acceptable print from Alpha.

Any other Chesterfield mysterys you can recommend?

You might want to check out Sinister Cinema- they have some Poverty Row specials- 4 films for $20- they also have about a dozed different sets you might find interesting. I bought 8 sets and was quite pleased with the service and Quality

Chesterfield and Invincible are interchangeable: same producers, same directors, same production crews. Since they had no studios, most of their movies were shot at Universal City on rented sets. They're generally stagebound, talky pictures, but if you liked DARK HOUR I can recommend some others: A SHOT IN THE DARK (with Charles Starrett), CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE, DEATH FROM A DISTANCE, IT COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED, and MURDER AT GLEN ATHOL. These are all 1934-36 releases of similar type and quality.

Circumstantial Evidence was entertaining. Also recommend The Crooked Circle.
