Did anyone catch this wonderful Columbia Buck Jones feature recently on TCM?

A great cast with Buck, Grant Withers, Shemp Howard, Dick Jones and Monty Collins.

The IMDB review by Les Adama is a nice write-up...

Watch for this one to air again.

I did a direct transfer to DVD-R yesterday afternoon while I was watching it for the first time. Great story and cast. Beautiful pristine print. I also found a nice poster to have my friend make me a DVD Cover.

Sadly, I was only able to catch the last two minutes of this movie...and I really did want to see it.

If anybody TIVO'd it, I should probably tell you that it ran until 1:47pm when the schedule said 1:45. Might want to check to see if you got the whole enchilada.

What a coinkydink; a fellow Balconeer and I today screened both this and another movie-about-movies western, It Happened in Hollywood, with Richard Dix and Fay Wray, along with a whole raft of movie star impersonators. Grant Withers was a riot in Round-Up.
