Revered in the UK Posts: 11,070 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: August 31, 2005	Watched this direct-to-DVD new movie tonight. It's okay. The origin of Wonder Woman and the Amazons; liked the voice work, which included Keri Russell as WW and Alfred Molina as Ares, more than the animation, which is done in the same style as all of DC's animated adaptations these days (would've loved something closer to the 1940s incarnation of the character). Very violent. A few bonus featurettes, including a 10 min. history of Wonder Woman and a sneak preview of the upcoming Green Lantern animated film, also 10 min. and starring the same people that're in the Wonder Woman featurette. Not bad at all, but nothing I am too enthused about.

Charter Member Posts: 5,570 Group: Members Member #17 Joined: September 4, 2005	OK, watched this one last night and enjoyed it way more than I expected to. Agree with LG, the voice work is top-notch. The animation isn't too bad, but it is that modern DC style. The Steve Trevor character was great, and made the movie. Also, it is very violent, with lots of beheadings, stabbings, etc. Very little blood, however. This film is also quite sexually charged up, with lots of innuendos and double entendres, making it a more adult experience than one would see in a DC animated movie. 3.5 Magic Lassos (out of 5)
