Came across this on 16mm. Fella is offering to sell the movie to me. Is this a rare film? His price is good enough to me but I need to know if it's one of those hard-to-come by movies or a common title.

It's available on the grey market in a kind of washed out print. This is a movie which I imagine could look pretty spectacular with some real color in it.

I saw it on the big screen at the Brattle in Cambridge last year as part of their "Roots of Indiana Jones" series. This qualified because;

1. Charlton Heston is wearing Indy's clothes
2. Steven Spielberg screened this movie for Harrison Ford when they were making the first Indiana Jones movie.

Otherwise I found it slow, Heston is a complete jackass, and Uncle Billy from It's A Wonderful Life gets mixed up in the whole thing.

If the movie was any good I'd be willing to give it another shot, but faded color alone does not make a movie bad on its own-- weak storyline and lame characters do.
