Glad they identified the surfers by name. I'd never have guessed it from the artwork. On the plus side, Annette seems to have gotten some extra cleavage.

Personally, I was wondering what films do NOT qualify as a "Movie Classic" if Beach Blanket Bingo does....

Hey, lookit the cast in this thing - Linda Evans (when she was adorable), Don Rickles, Paul Lynde, not to mention Harvey Lembeck, Deborah Walley and John Ashley! If that's not classic, I'd like to know what is. PLUS ... there's Marta Kristen - you know, Judy from Lost in Space who was the object of one of my crushes at one time.

Good morning... I'll be ready in a few minutes... 7:30ish, as we said... Meanwhile, note that you can find a complete list of Dell Movie Classics (lotsa scary movies, actually, scarier 'n' Beach Blanket Bingo even) right here:

While lookin' for a picture of Donny Rickles this am, I found Rickles on the cover of a Jimmy Olsen comic. And no, I don't wanna do it on Sat am!

Hmmmm.... Wait'll you see the funnybook where Clark Kent meets Alan Funt and gets his secret identity accidentally revealed on Candid Camera. No, really.

What would be more appropos for the inside cover than a poster for what I think is the best of all the Beach Party movies....

I actually met Marta Kristen a few years ago; she had fond memories of this film and working with the cast, and thought her leading man - Jody McCrea - was a sweetie and that it was all around fun and good memories.

I remember the good ol' days of lying around on a blanket, on the shore of Lake Erie, and I'd look at the love of my life, and say, "Bingo." Of course she was a German Shephard named Bingo, so IT made sense.
