Just a little piece of western trivia. While watching Johnny Mack Brown's 1941 movie The Masked Rider there is a scene early on where JMB and Fuzzy Knight are involved in a shootout at Iverson's Ranch around the famous cliffs when all of a sudden Grant Withers or his stunt double rides up the hill to the Lone Ranger rock and proceeds to fire at them. Eventually he leaves by going down the hill the same way Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger would do starting some 8 years later. Thought I'd pass this along. Barcroft |
