Hold it, Frank: Ansco Color is really Eastman Color? I thought Ansco and Eastman Kodak were competitors.

You're right.

I had to look it up but Anscocolor, Sovcolor, and Metrocolor all derive from Agfacolor, a different German process.

That'll teach me.

Eastman Color went out under a variety of names (WarnerColor, MetroColor, Pathécolor, AnscoColor, HammerColor, DeLuxe etc) depending on which lab was doing the processing.
The Devil Rides out was in Technicolor but The Devil's Bride (same fillum) was in DeLuxe Color - someone in umtm explained why that was - must delve into the Google archives! :D
