While I wrote last night, I plopped in one of the new DVDs from Passport with sci-fi trailers (see the DVD Calendar) and watched it for about 45 minutes. Each DVD has 50 trailers in great condition (there are very small, very faint watermarks in the lower right corner, barely noticeable even on my huge TV). Highlights last night included The Thing, The Blob, Phantom from Space, Man from Planet X, Night of the Blood Beast, The Cosmic Monsters, The Astounding She Monster, Killers from Space, Invasion of the Saucer Men, and Plan 9 from Outer Space. Good stuff, recommended.

While I wrote last night,....
I thought Tuesday nights were for karaoke and sushi?

True enough! But unless I have my film group meetings (2 Tuesdays a month) I don't have to leave the house until 8:30 (karaoke starts at 9). Inasmuch as this is a working weekend for me (Board and committee meetings) I will not have a chance to work on my writing projects this weekend, as I usually do. Life is busy when you're Laughing Gravy, apparently.

I watched another half hour or so of the first disc yesterday; highlights included a trailer for The Purple Monster Strikes...
