My pet peeve, none of their foreign movies have subtitles --they're all dubbed into German, and not real carefully, either. Imagine -- Laurel and Hardy dubbed into German. Bugs Bunny dubbed into German. Zasu Pitts dubbed into German. Franklin Pangborn dubbed into German. They haven't really heard our movies there, which means they haven't really seen 'em. I mean, hell fire, Woody Allen dubbed into German? Peter Sellers? Jayne Mansfield? Marlon Brando? It's just insane.
