Mr. Jacobi belongs to the select group of always reliable character actors. I can not remember him ever having given a sub par performance. Like Peter Lorre, he always seemed to improve a picture the moment he appeared on screen.

One of his best roles was as Moustache in Irma La Douce. However, the role that I remember most fondly was his scene-stealing performance as Judge Stern in Little Murders.

I remember Lou from numerous tv show appearances in the '60s and '70s. Like Izzy, I never saw a Lou Jacobi performance I didn't like. A fine character actor.
