Thought the new Wolfman was a moderately entertaining B-movie.

Semi - spoiler.....

I particularly like the addition of a mystery wolfman character and the wolfman vs. wolfman battle.

I was sorely disappointed in the film- atmosphere was good- but slow and boring

I didn't really like Del Torro in this film, he got the tortured victim part down but demonstrated little of the charm or warmth that Chaney displayed in the original. He started the film morose and pissed off and ended the film the same way. I don't think he and Blunt had any real chemistry together and Ithought the big fight at the end was too cartoonish, the big reveal of who bit Larry was ludicrous, not helped by Hopkins over acting (made his Van Helsing seem subdued by comparison). Hugo Weaving was wasted in a nothing role, though he may have more to do if they make a sequel from the loose end they left dangling. Most disappointing is introducing the the wolf head cane and then doing nothing with it. For my money the best of the Universal remakes is still Sommers'The Mummy.

Todd- I could not agree more! He took the basic Mummy idea and created an Indiana Jones clone- and all three were very enjoyable- unlike Spielberg's 2 misses with Indy- Temple of Doom and Chrystal Skull
