I Recently picked up the Image Box set of Boris Karloff's Thriller TV series....after owning a Gray Market version for years. Although impressed with the restoration and extra goodies The series itself is a bit inconsistent (IMHO)....After watching some rather forgettable early episodes I finally reached the episode "The Purple Room" and this was The way I remembered Thriller....I was going to watch the entire series in sequential order however I believe I am going to pick and choose the scarier ones.....anyone of you have the same opinion as me...or am I just being a bit too critical lol

I go in order, but I know somebody who went backwards to get to the scary stuff first.

There are a couple of websites out there that rate episodes, but of course you'll have to agree with the reviewers.
Even a bad episode of THRILLER is better than 90% of what's on TV now. I'd stick to watching them in order.

I've rented the first couple of discs and so far have to agree with you Inspector. The series (at least in the beginning) is hit or miss. The Purple Room was the first one I really liked as well. I remember there being some terrifying episodes later in the series.

Yers. I've long suspected a famous Balconeer of dodgy deals with the Cosa Nostra: Arch Enemy of the FBI!
