![]() How does that Hammer Horror grab The Balcony? Raquel Welch asked especially to meet Christopher (Rasputin) Lee when she was filming 'One Million Years BC' at Hammer's Bray Studios and told him how talented she thought he was. Hammer officials said, "Don't tell him that! He'll want more money!". Looking forward to it - haven't seen it for yonks! Saw it and it's improved with age and great fun - highly fictionalised, of course. Maltin's Guide said the script was very bad but the movie was redeemed by Lee's acting - he *was* good! |

I saw it when it first came out in 1966, paired with one of the Dracula films (Prince of Darkness, probably). They gave us plastic vampire fangs and fake beards(!). Man, movies just aren't that much fun anymore. Anyway, my brother and I loved it, but what the hell did we know, we had fangs and beards, we would've loved anything. |

I too saw it in 1966 c/w either 'Plague of the Zombies' or 'The Reptile' also made back to back like Raspy and Drac. What fun - beards and teeth - England isn't generous like that!

According to Kinsey's book, Rasputin was released with The Reptile, and Dracula Prince of Darkness was released with Plague of the Zombies. It was mixed-up in this country; I've still never seen either The Reptile nor Zombies. |
