The most obvious one of all: "Next week... Same time... Same station..."

"The following program is brought to you in living color on NBC."

Slogans or catch-phrases? You be the judge!

---

There's been a shocking amount of repetition here lately. Now I know all you good do-bees can do better, so put on those thinking caps! [Romper Room, but the comment is sincere.]

---

Did the Duke's "We love you madly" actually ever play on the radio or TV? Not that it matters in the slightest, I suppose.

---

The Breakfast Club was really a strange show. I only heard it live a few times in the 50's while motoring down to the South with my parents on annual vacations in pre-interstate days.

John Dunning comments in his radio book that he asked Don McNeill for an interview long after the show was off the air, and was totally and rudely blown off. So perhaps things weren't quite so friendly in breakfast land after all.

Whenever the laws of any state are broken, each state has a duly authorized organization that swings into action. It may be called the state militia or the state police or the highway patrol. These are the stories of the men whose training, skill and courage have enforced and preserved our state laws

I thought that question would come up and, yes, the Duke did use that on several radio broadcasts and TV shows, mostly late in his life when he got a little more exposure.

Here's another catchphrase"

Would you believe...? (the ... represent whatever improbable thing you were asked to believe)

Golly gosh darn -- critiques on game behavior? Well, I've been guilty of it meself.

The Breakfast Club was on WCHV Charlottesville, but it originated in Chicago, I think. I always found it kinda peculiar, but I don't remember why. My Dad listened to it every day driving to work, but I think it was just white noise to him.
Life is just a bowl of cherries, it's too mysterious, don't take it serious...
