You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent, Pepsodent, Pepsodent...

Sorry, folks, but that really was part of our lives.

You could go on forever with advertising catch phrases but I am more interested in the ones remembered from the actual shows. I sure don't object to anyone who wants to mention the advertising ones.

Well, ya know, 'catch phrases' is a term coined on Mad Ave, but I catch your drift.

How about "Magic words of poof, poof, piffles, make me just as small as Sniffles" -- with a no-prize for the first one who identifies the quote by the comic's title.

Mary Jane.

I actually remember that BEFORE she started uttering that phrase, she used "magic sand" to make her small.

Oh wait, you wanted the comic title: Looney Tunes & Merry Melodies (the first comic book I ever owned).

My mom used to say "Vas you dere, Chollie?" a lot.

"Up, up, and AWAY!" I used to say THAT a lot. And "This looks like a job for... SUPERMAN!", too.

"Mmmmmmmmmm, COULD be."
or
"Mmmmm, it's a possibility."

Both turned up in Warner cartoons, usually in a high distinctive voice. Guessing both belonged to a specific radio show.
