I wish you guys could get over your hate Grood syndrome. No matter how you feel about him, the fact remains that he does good work on DVD's.
So let me understand this: you want us to forgive a man who has never once apologized or asked for forgiveness, who stole from us and friends of ours, and lied about and slandered us, just because "he does good work on DVD's"?

I don't know if you're just clueless, insensitive, or plain out evil, willie.

Here's a clue for you, willie: nobody set out to hate Grood. Everybody here and on my site, myself included, set out to support the guy. We bought his shit. We attended his SerialFests. Some of us defended the guy and fought his battles for him. What did it get us? Lies, slander, stealing, and bullshit in general. The late Tobecontinued put money out of his own pocket to secure Johnny Duncan for SerialFest 20002, money that Grood didn't feel should be reimbursed. Know who reimbursed the guy? Henry Miyamoto. Grood runs SerialFest, but another member had to reimburse Tobe. Very classy.

When he put out Masked Rider Vol. II, he refused to send Ace Drummond his copy. He also tried to refuse to refund him his money for the serial. I believe it was Prince Barin who either refunded the money or put pressure on Grood to refund the money.

Don't tell us how we should feel about the man just because "he does good work on DVD's". That's an insult, willie, and you damn well know it.

I have an idea: why don't you go up to Nicole Brown's family and tell them to get over their hate for O.J. Simpson since he made a couple of good movies?

Actually, I was wrong about Radar Men. Chalk it up to an allergy medication induced haze.

So, Todd, you're equating lying to people and taking money and not delivering product and being rude and stupid with, um, butchering the mother of your children? You make me laugh.

You want a less extreme example, Gravy? Ok. Bernie Madoff donated $6 million to lymphoma research and was something of a philanthropist. However, he was still a crook. So why doesn't willie go up to his victims and tell them to get over their feelings about the man since he donated all that money to lymphoma research?

This has been nostalgic, self-censorship and all.

I didn't know people put out decent prints of Black Whip after Grood did, but I did want to point out that he has changed the title for some weird reason. I seem to recall that his brother is an attorney, so maybe that has some bearing on this.

And aren't we about due for a spirited discussion of how boring Antonioni is? Then the rosy glow would be complete.

Image put out all three PD Zorro serials in beautiful renditions, Paul. They also put out a great looking Robinson Crusoe of Clipper Island (even if the serial itself is kinda "Meh"). There was talk that they would do more, but it never came about.

Who?

"Dr. Grood used me to endorse one of his releases when I didn't endorse it at all, he just made up a quote and stuck it on his website. So me buying one of his serials would be like a Jew buying 'Mein Kamfp!" - Gravy 3D.

Actually, I knew a Jew who bought Mein Kampf, so your analogy kinda fails there. In fact, a Jew buying Mein Kampf as a way to understand what made Hitler tick isn't as outrageous an idea as you might think.

Now, a person investing with Bernie Madoff after he had already ripped them off, that's a better analogy.

Though at least Madoff offered some sort of apology for his behavior, unlike Grood.

Well, Herr Groodski believes everyone rips him off and thus he justifies treating people the way he does.

Sarge, with much respect, if your post refers to willie, seeing as to how he (and Chuck) told me to go "f" myself, I don't think your quote applies.

If it means that we should do that with Grood, it definitely doesn't apply.

I can and will certainly go on not giving him money. I am under no obligation to ever forgive him for his sins, especially as he's never asked for forgiveness. As far as I'm concerned, he can go to hell--and I sincerely hope he does.

Sorry Todd, but you're wrong about the deal with Ace Drummond's refund for MR II. It was your friend Willie that put the pressure on Grood to send him his refund. Yes, me--Amazing, huh? Except for you, I try to help people. Your miserable evil arse doesn't deserve it.

I also put the pressure on Grood to deliver the same material to Prince Barin, since they were at odds at the time. I also had to pressure Grood to send him DDOTW. Rob got both of these items, and was happy as hell for my help.

I also sent Panzer's address to Grood, so he should have received the goods too. And he should get MR III & book when it comes out unless he's moved again.

So keep your facts straight.

And I'm not asking you to change how you feel about Grood. I said "I WISH", because I know it's not going to happen.

Willie

Ok, so it was you who had to pressure him to do the right thing in terms of Ace. Still, consider that. Consider what that means. It means that if you didn't pressure him--and let's not forget that he tried weaseling out of it by trying to send it to an incorrect paypal e-mail address that he knew Ace hadn't had in years--he wouldn't have done it.

But I'm the so-called evil one.

I who told people to review the discs of The Masked Rider Vol. I and not hate talk the man who put them out am the so-called evil one, while Grood slandering someone and calling them a woman-hating homosexual on the day they buried their brother is a Good Guy because he releases pirated DVDs that Willie can buy and beat his meat to all day long.

Maybe I've done it wrong all these years. Maybe I should post endless rants about pirated DVDs and people wanting to watch complete serials at SerialFest and slander people left and right but then put out pirated DVDs in a fit of outrageous hypocrisy, claiming to be an educational institution instead of a sick individual in a shitty apartment. Maybe then I'll be one of the Good Guys.

Screw that. And screw you, willie. You're a sick, twisted little twat. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. I may unban you from my site just so I can ban you a second time.

Oh such pleasantries Todd. Just what I would expect from you. My,my you seem so upset. Sounds like you need a tranquilizer or 2 to calm you down.

LG's going to love your post.

It's a shame. We could have worked things out and been amiable. But your final PM to me closed the door on that, and that is why I call you miserably evil. If you can't remember it, I still have it and would be glad to send it back to you.

And now your last post gives me further cause to call you evil, but now I'm going to add demented to it. Maybe raving demented is better. And you call ME sick??? LOL!! What a foul mind you have.

Go ahead and unban me, but give me a day to wreak havoc on your boards before you ban me again. I think that would be great fun.

Now you have a loathsome day my friend.

willie
