Whenever I visit Amazon or IMDB I sometimes want to contact the reviewer of a book or movie. Clicking on his profile does not get me an email address.
Is there something more, or another method, I'm not aware of I can do to obtain the email address?
Thank you.

I don't think there is a way for IMDB.

For Amazon, you can click on the reviewer's name in a specific review. The reviewer may have supplied an email address. In some cases, you may need to click Boards Profile in the Quick Links to the right of the clicked on name information to obtain more information about the reviewer (if any). There is no guarantee that the reviewer will supply an email address. I did some spot checks and found some reviewers who do give an email address and others who don't. I suspect most don't to avoid spam and insulting or otherwise nasty replies.

IMDb won't allow access to email addresses, but you can private message the reviewer. Just click on their name and you will be taken to their public profile page. In the top right corner is an option to send them a personal message.

I couldn't find that on IMDb, Bats. Glad you could. But I'm only an occasional user of the site.

No prob, Jazzy, been a member for years. Great way of keeping track of what I watched and what I rated it.

Thanks for the replies but . . . . Batman: Tried several times by clicking on authors name and do not see any icon or personnel profile lead that gives me an email address. Could you be more detailed in how to do this?
Thank you.

Sure can. I've copy and pasted an IMDb review below. I highlighted and underlined the person's User Name (in this case, FilmMuscle) that you need to click on. When you do, you will be taken to his/her public profile page. There you will find an option to send a personal message through the IMDb system. Their email address will not be listed.

Liam Neeson Is An Actor First and An Action Star Second
22 September 2014 | by FilmMuscle (United States) – See all my reviews

Credits roll, and a haunting cover of "Black Hole Sun" by Nouela plays (the same song from the trailer). Its mellow and dilatory tune perfectly encapsulates the bleak, somber tone of this chilling thriller where Liam Neeson isn't the invincible badass his reputation usually proclaims. We first meet Matt Scudder (Neeson) in a flashback in the early 1990's where he clumsily takes down three crooks in a murky New York City. Fast forward to 1999, and he's retired—apparently scarred by his own incompetence on that wretched day—laying back at his favorite restaurant when an acquaintance (Eric Nelsen) informs him of a significant (unofficial) assignment. Oh no, a retired, gloomy detective returns for one last job? And yet, the film astonishingly manages to feature these kinds of irksome clichés but executes them in such an exceptional way as to overshadow their familiarity with the underlying compelling storyline and arresting cinematography.

Batman . . . thanks again. Last month I attended a support rally at my retirement base because it may get closed down due to Hercules C-130 upgrades. Hope not because I can still get ID's for my wife and I there, use the work-out room and the BX. I also get newsletter updates/emails, attend retirement meetings, visit former co-workers/buddies and get on a "stand-by" flight once in a while. Proud to have served -31 years: navy and air force.
