Filmation's 1977 TARZAN series was finally released to DVD-- I remember this show as a kid and really liking it. I read the Burrough's TARZAN books as a kid and thought this was pretty close to what I saw in my head. I picked them up but haven't watched them yet. I'm hoping they hold up.

Do you have a link, Andy? I have the complete Filmation versions of the Lone Ranger and Zorro. Adding the Tarzans' to my collection is desired.

Thanks, Andy. That's the first season release, which is a start, hopefully they release the 20-episode second season. Though Filmation shows have been ill-served in their DVD releases.

Well the show holds up pretty well but the transfer quality is terrible. On the first few episodes the print is washed out and honestly looks bootleg quality at best.
Too bad, I'm not going to send it back because I've not seen the show in a long time, but I can't recommend it if anyone is hoping for something that looks good.
