Newly in quotes because apparently these were discovered in 2008-- well it's new to me.
I love The Shadow and having the second summer season of Orson Welles along with a few Johnstone episodes is a great find!
The newly discovered episodes are;

The Old People 06-26-38,
The Voice of the Trumpet 07-03-38,
He Died At Twelve 07-10-38,
The Reincarnation of Michael 07-17-38,
The Mark of the Bat 07-24-38,
Revenge on the Shadow 07-31-38,
The Mine Hunters 08-07-38,
The Hospital Murders 08-14-38,
The Black Buddha 09-04-38,
The Witch Drums 09-11-38,
Professor X 09-18-38,
Fountain of Death 11-27-38,
Murder By Rescue 12-11-38

and...

1. Cold Death
2. Dead Man's Revenge
3. Death Imported
4. Death Pulls The Strings
5. Devil's Hour, The
6. Dragon's Tongue Murders, The
7. Drums of Doom The (aka The Black Judge).... (not the same program as the previous circulating "Drums of Doom" about Vood Doo)
8. Murder in the Ballpark
9. Organ Played at Midnight, The
10. Thing in the Swamp, The
11. Village of Doom

I forget where these came from initially, but they were plenty expensive to get from the source. Radio Spirits were able to buy them and restore them for release.

A few more have been uncovered in the last year or so, but they aren't Welles episodes.

Radio Spirits should have done a better job promoting the discovery-- I visit their site regularly to buy stuff and I would gladly have bought these but I've never seen them there.

They spread them out over a bunch of sets, putting two or three at a time on them. They would put a little blurb on the cover, but they probably should've done more. Generally, they don't seem too keen on promoting sets with "new" episodes, but there are a bunch of them. I'll try to point it out here when I notice in the future.

Doing it this way forces you to double dip into episodes you've already bought.
Not cool.

There is the set The Shadow: Evil Lurks, which has 12 of the "new" episodes, and the others are all upgrades. The circulating versions of those were from Charles Micheleson syndication transfers done in the 60's. The examples on the set are the real deal.

For some reason, it's no longer available from RS, but you can find it on Amazon if you're so inclined.
