The Yanks are coming!

The Penn State Campus Weather Service has announced in its evening forecast discussion that there will be a period overnight tonight that will be completely weather-free.

Quote:

This very pleasant and enjoyable calendar week comes to an end with a gray day. A cold front brought showers to the state this morning; gray skies and falling temperatures. Skies will clear overnight, and we will see sunny skies and mild temperatures again on Sunday. A system will move through the state Sunday night and into Monday. This system will bring a more steady rainfall to Pennsylvania, the first decent accumulation in several weeks. Behind the system we will see a brief cool-down with temperatures well-below average. An interesting note: between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 AM we will see a complete absence of weather. Remeber to set your clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Saving Time.

The National Weather Service has not commented on this phenomenon.

:o Wow...that's really bizzare. Almost makes me want to stay up that late to see if they're right.

Woah...I was a non-believer...but they were right...there was no weather at all from 2am to 3am! Those forecasters are good! I'd like to meet them someday.
