From ESPN: Reyna To Join MLS After Manchester City Cuts Contract Wow, another to MLS. I wonder if Beckham's move to the US is going to prompt more players to come over from these more prominent leagues. This could be very good for MLS. |

Pretty soon, they're going to need to expand by a few more teams...maybe make it a 16 team league? |

I think that's the goal, to expand to 16 by 2010. Cities that have been listed as "under consideration" are San Jose (return of the Earthquakes), Miami, Cleveland, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Rochester, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. |

Didn't Miaimi have a team too? The Fusion? What happened to them? That better not be the Rochester that I know...I don't see an MLS team working there...although the Rochester Ragin Rhinos have been doing well in the USL, so maybe it'll work out. |

Yup, the Miami Fusion. I think they were one of the original teams. They shut down due to money issues, I think. I'd have to check on Wikipedia. And yes, that is Rochester, NY. The Rhinos have been rumored to move up to MLS, however, the expansion fees alone are beyond what they can pay. And even though the Rhinos may be popular, I don't think that Rochester yet has the fanbase they need to be a major professional rteam. |

There's a notice on both the MLS and New York Red Bulls sites that they'll be announcing a signing tomorrow. My guess is that it's Reyna.
