NLL Looking at Expansion; Vancouver, Boston Possible Candidates

Not only is the National Lacrosse League getting stronger, it plans on getting much bigger in the near future as well.

Expanding the current 13-team league is a high priority for the NLL, said league commissioner Jim Jennings, in Edmonton to watch a match between the Rush and the Calgary Roughnecks Saturday.

"We're planning on expanding by one team for sure and possibly two, maybe three," he said. "We are in talks with Boston, St. Louis, Vancouver, Seattle, Cleveland and Oklahoma City.

Cool stuff. Hopefully Boston gets a team so I can root for them instead of Rochester. ;) And they're also talking about expanding from 16 games per season to 20. It'll be interesting to see what happens during the offseason.
