Breeding, or reproduction as some may better know it to be called, is a process only natural in life. However, this process varies greatly from the process we’re used to within Syumo when it comes to creatures. Creatures normally begin breeding around the teenage stage, into the adult stage. These are the only two stages where breeding is possible for creatures, as during other stages the creatures do not have the necessary energy stored, plus their bodies are only prepared for breeding at these stages. Also, both females and males are able to give birth, much unlike our world, where only females birth children. Now, onward to the actual process….

When two creatures, of the appropriate stage, are in love, or at least experiencing lust, breeding becomes possible. The basic idea is both creatures put themselves in a position where their bodies are touching, even if just in a minor way, such as their tails, or paws are meeting. Then, the creature who will not be birthing must either speak, or think, the word, ‘Aiyokia’. This word is special, in the way that when thought or spoken, when love or lust is present, it causes a creature’s ‘scent’ to be released. A creature’s scent is basically a small, colored powder, which is stored usually in their ears, tail, wings, or paws. This ‘scent’, when released, instantly flows into the nearest body, or attempts to. Again, love or lust must be present, or else the scent will be repelled, and merely disappear, without reproduction taking place.

If the lust/love is present within the creature which the scent is directed at, its body will absorb the powder, usually through its ears, tails, wings, or paws, same as the areas where the scent is released. When the scent is absorbed, it will mix itself with the scent of the current creature, creating a new scent entirely. The creature will then become pregnant for the time period of six weeks, much shorter than our nine months. As with humans, their pregnancy will show by the growth of where ever the egg is stored. (Usually near the stomach area.)

Upon the completion of six weeks, or around the time period, the birthing creature will notice a dizzy feeling take hold of them, and a slight vibration taking place around the area where the child is being stored. When this happens, the creature should be taken immediately to their home, as a hospital is not needed. The creature should also be placed in laying position, with sheets, or any type of fabric, cushioning them. (If they are a wild creature, grass, leaves, and other things of the natural sort usually work.) The creature will begin the birthing process within ten minutes of the vibrations and dizzy feeling starting, during this time they should just remain still, and focus on the idea of getting the creature within them out. Now, while creatures do remain within their parent for several weeks, they are born within an egg.

The actual process for removing the egg from the creature’s body, to the real world, is rather simple. The egg will form next to the parenting creature slowly, by transporting itself bit by bit in a gas-like form, through its parents body. When finished removing itself from the creature, it will slowly take a solid form on. This process can last anywhere from ten minutes to an hour, and can take either a little energy from the parent, or a lot. It depends on the egg birthed, and the creature themselves.

Finally, once it is complete, an egg will be the final result. Then, the hatching process will eventually take place. Though, for now we the reproduction process has finished, and you know what breeding is like in Syumo. It may seem weird, mystical, or just stupid, but it’s an alternate universe, what do you expect?
Where can your lipstick bring us?
Show me your magic,
Cool Guy.
