Hikari was trying her best to avoid the mud, the white silk material of her outfit now stained a muddy brown. Oh well, just another thing to add to her already quite daunting appearance. “The sea? You mean on the beach, walking on what would now be sinking sand?” she raised an eyebrow. Mud was better than sinking sand. Mud was safer than sinking sand, which was why Hikari preferred it. “It’ll be dry in the woods” she said, looking off into the distance at the woods. It all seemed kind of gloomy to her. But that was what Hikari liked, a gloomy atmosphere, it made her feel at home. |

"Easy lass, didn't mean for it to go that deep," Merssaid smiling at her, she weemed well dressed, at least better then he, it was a pity she was staining her clothing, unless you asked for a washing machine or something of tha sort. Nonetheless, he guess that she was a higher end person, but he could never be sure, his officers always put things up to make it look better, anyone else could do the same. Even so, why would she? She was a 'spawn' after all. |

Hikari smiled under her mask, twirling the umbrella in-between her fingers. She sighed, the rain could be such a lovely thing, but horrible at the same time, she thought as she looked down at he bottom of her yukata. Well at least it wasn’t a kimono, you can barely move in those. “Thought of anything to ask for yet?” she asked, turning around to look at Mers. There was plenty to ask for, a car maybe, the rain to stop (which still hadn’t crossed Hikari’s mind), and other things like that. |

Mers shook his head, "Nothing that really seems to appeal right now," Mers said twitching a bit, cool water running down his boots, a crushing quish with each step. he kicked his feet out a bit more with each step, getting a bit of the water out each time. After a few steps it was all but gone, leading back to a normal walk. "Not untill dark, then i will ask..." Mers said nodding. |

“Well why don’t you just ask for it to be dark?” Hikari asked, not actually catching all of what he said, too caught up in her own thoughts. “what are you going to ask anyway?” she added after a bit, sounding slightly annoyed from all the mud around. Why hadn’t this place been made of concrete or something? You don’t sink into that, and it doesn’t stain your clothes. She was still facing Mers, only looking behind herself a couple of times to see how far the forest was from them, checking how much more mud they would have to trek through. |

"That hikari, woud be something I am not willing to do, and you will have to wait to know what I ask for..." Mers said smiling slyly, he was tricky from time to time, a quality brought out by certain people. It was in this that he started to plot differently, trying to suprise another and break his styles, that was why it was so rare. Mers didn't like change very much, mking this room all the more hate-able. |

She shrugged. If he didn’t want to tell her then she could accept I, Hikari wasn’t exactly the curious type. She turned around and continued to walk towards the forest, which still seemed gloomy. Also it appeared that the forest (and only the forest) was getting darker with each look she took. Hikari looked over at the other places, all seemed normal, she then looked back to the woods which were darker than the last time. “Hey Mers, does it appear to be getting darker over there?” she asked, stopping and pointing to the forest “Maybe we should go in a different direction” |

"your the one at the front, you changedirection and I'll follow suit," Mers said, nodding. He wasn't really heartset on the woods, just seemed like an easy way to go, but if they were dark andloamy, maybe they were not the best choice. After all, her hunted suggestion was plausable, wouldn't want to be stuck in the dark. |

“ok then” Hikari said, heading towards the sea instead, the rain now coming to a slow stop. She smiled under her mask once more, discarding the umbrella next to a rock. Things were starting to look up at least, even if it was just a little bit. Maybe soon they’d get out of here, and Hikari could go back to doing whatever it was she had been doing, which was probably nothing. |

Mers turned and followed her, keeping his pace thesame as hers. as he fetlt the rai stop he shook his torso, flinging the water off of him quickly, then he rotated his shoulders again. After a few seconds of silence he yawned, he was barely tired, but alas his body did so. taking his pistol out he spun it on his finger, the action clicking to and fro. "No more sinking sand then?" Mers asked. |

“well is there anywhere else to go?” Hikari replied. There probably wasn’t any, the rain hadn’t been that bad, but you could never be to sure with these things, especially in as weird a place as this. Why had she abandoned the alcohol? Had she truly thought she could do without it? Well, if that’s what she thought then hikari was dead wrong. This place was simply to strange to go through without alcohol, and Hikari was regretting leaving the bottle of wine on a rock a while back. |

"Well, if there isn't, surely this room can manafest some place nice to go..." Mers laughed weakly, still a bit unnerved by the scenery just changing, this would have to be some sort of hologram or magic chamber. That meant there was a wayo ut, and he just had to find it. |

“Ok then, could we please be in hell?” Hikari joked, laughing a little. The room then started to change, its plains becoming baron, the earth covered in red sand, the sky a dark red color, showing hat it was night time. “I didn’t really mean it” Hikari said, her eyes wide. This place had transformed it exactly how she remembered it, except there were only Hikari and Mers in the room. “Well…welcome to hell, I guess” |

"Delightful..." mers said grinning, it didn't seem so bad, just looked like a wasteland, not bad at all. TTurning completely around he got a full veiw of the dark and sinistar place, the flames and shadows. This wasn't hell, it wwas just an image of it, no emotion here, just a picture. "I suppose I should ask for hat i want then..." mers said shruggingh. |

“If you wish, this is as dark as it’s going to get here from what I remember” Hikari said. She sat down upon a flat rock, checking the material at the bottom of her yukata to make sure it wasn’t ruined. It would probably return to normal when they got out, but hikari didn’t know that. They were still in some weird parallel universe for all she knew. But she didn’t mind, not like she had anything important to do in death anyway. |
