Mers turned that direction, wading through the snow untill an idea hit him like a pointy rock. "I want a fire..." Mers said, smiling as a burst of flame shot from inside the box, revealing it instantly. Picking it up after the flames had stopped there was a small sizzle as the flesh on his hands burnned, he tossed the box away, shouting out in pain as he held his plams in pain. He gritted his teeth as the searing sensation continued, burns always hurt, no matter how many you had gotten. |

“Are you ok?” Hikari asked as she walked over to him. Burns did hurt, they hurt badly. Even Hikari was hurt by burns, and she’d spent years in hell, where you’re most likely to get burned. “Let me see your hands” she said as she held out her own. She looked over at the box, wondering if it had cooled down yet, or if it was still burning hot. It was a good idea asking for a fire, but a bad idea to pick it up without letting it cool down first was stupid. |

Mers turned back towards her, away from the cube that had injured him, offering his hands palms up to Hikari. He didn't know what she would do, he had early doubted she was a healer, undead healers were all too rare these days but who knows, maybe he would get lucky. After all, he wasn't about to ask for a first aid kit from the box, no not anymore. His arms quivered a bit from the cold, his body was having a hard time adapting to all the enviroments so quickly, and now he had burnt skin against cold air, killing the skin quicker no less. |

Hikari had once been a healer, back when she was living, but that was another thing she couldn’t remember. She was however, a necromancer, and though she didn’t now how to use her powers properly, or all the powers she had, she had once been told necromancers could heal using the souls of the dead. But Hikari wasn’t sure her powers even worked here. Still, it was worth a try. She tried to summon anything, any soul, even a hamster would do, but nothing appeared, not one thing. She didn’t even feel drained, which she would if her powers were working. “I’m sorry; my powers aren’t working for some reason” |

Mers shook his head, "Don't worry about it, I'm the fool who grabbed a burning box, I suppose pain is my punishment for insolence..." He returned his hands to his sides, gripping them into fists as he embraced the stinging, he would be fine, but he didn't like having impaired hands, made things much more difficult. But at least he could still move his fingers, he could still do a great deal of things, even if it was impaired. After all, it's not like there were any threats, the darkness had gone and it didn't look like Hikari would turn on him, so it was all going to work out. |

Hikari shrugged, walking over to the box which would have hopefully cooled down. She picked it up, dropping it almost as quickly as she had picked it up. Stupid box, it was still boiling. At least she wasn’t very badly burned. “I suppose we’re both fools” she said, shaking her hands. It was kind off odd, her flesh was cold except for the palms of her hands, it was a weird feeling. “So what shall we do now?” she asked, trying to forget the searing pain in her palms. |

"Perhaps we should wait for the damn thing to cool off..." Mers muttered, shaking his head at the fact that she had done it aswell, "After all, no one likes burns..." He thought that maybe someone did, but they weren't there to stop his generalization, so there it went. Yawning a bit, stretched, putting his palms back out into thew air. "Ice please..." He said, ise appeared in the box, but it was dissolved into steam that shot out of the top, "I thought the snow would have done that..." |

It would be weird to find someone who liked burns, maybe they were from hell, or liked giving other people burns. It was a weird thought; that Hikari quickly forgot about as she watched the ice melt. Well at least they now had a way to tell if It had cooled down, a rather un-conventional way. “Why don’t you just stick your hands in the snow?” hikari asked. It seemed a smart thing to do, after all the snow was all around them, and wasn’t really being used for anything. |

Mers shook his head quickly, "No that would kill the living cells, as few as they are they are weak," Mers said firmly, remembering his first aid training. Puyying his hands under his arms he folded them over his chest, standing still a bit angled from the slope. The masked women before him seemed different some how, but he wasn't sure why. Nonetheless he had burnt hands, no idea where he was, and a growing need for food, which he would soon eat. |

Hikari shrugged again. She hadn’t had first aid training, and if she had then she had forgotten it all. Not that she would need to be trained in first aid; it wouldn’t really help much, with her being dead and all. She found it odd that, though she was dead, her nerves were still alive, meaning she still felt pain. You’d think that would be a perk of being a hell spawn, but it wasn’t, you still felt pain, and you could still die (though you would come back to life again), and you lost all your memories. The only thing good about it was enhanced powers and the fact that you didn’t need to breath. ‘I bet if you asked for a frozen chicken you’d get a cooked one’ Hikari said randomly as she stared at the box. |

Mers' eyes turned to stare at her, his head still pointed at the box, you couldn't tell he was looking at he but he was, thinking about her comment. He had said a few odd things, but she just kind of blurted that one out. He supposed it didn't really matter though, just words after all. "I assume so, if it's still that hot," mers said, nodding. He could still remember the orginal burn, the searing, the burn. It was almost visual, like all hi senses perceived it at once. |

“It probably is still hot” hikari said, not exactly ready to see if it was still hot after the last burn she got. She had had worse, but still, a burn’s a burn, and if you had the choice most people would opt not to be burned, which is what Hikari did. She turned around and walked back over to the rock she had originally been sat on, sitting down once more. She kicked the snow around her with her out of boredom. It was better then wherever she had been before, or at least, she guessed it was. |

"One would assume so, but we won't know untill that ice is gone..." Mers muttered, the steam still rising from the top. He didn't think it was THAT hot but alas it was, the fire was quite the thing. It had kept it this hot for this long. Amazing, the heat, it was a life power on it's own, living, breathing and burning. |

Hikari wasn’t really listening to Mers, she was writing something in the snow with her foot, some symbols in some other language that she didn’t really understand. She quickly covered them with more snow, not really needing anymore confusion. “huh?’ she asked, suddenly realizing he had said something |

"Nothing lass, don't worry..." Mers said glancing at her, if his words were not important enough for her to listen then he wouldn't bother to reapeat them, another of his phiosphies. Pacing forward to the box he kicked it over, steam billowing out the side as he sighed, "It's still hot..." He mumbled. |
