Ticktick shuffled closer to Vis'tal, in a foolish attempt to seem protective. Seeing how Ticktick possessed no weapon nor a massive amount of strength, he could do nothing to save his beastial friend from this new threat. If she was a threat, of course. All the same, Ticktick was normally a very trusting soul. He had to be, otherwise the engineers would not be able to open him up for repairs.

"Lady Ange, it is my esteemed pleasure to meet you. But I would ask you to refrain from any mention of harming my dear colleague. Such talk is, how you say, unpleasant upon my ears."

Now he was just showing off, and he made it quite clear. A ridiculous smile was on his face and he was chuckling slightly as he trailed off. The Ticker had searched his memory banks and found the most educated words for the moment and formatted them into a sentence.

Wouldn't Maria have been so proud?

"Perhaps I should apologize," she spoke sweetly, "Or perhaps... I should not. Your lovely companion is of no threat to me nor I to him. Therefore, sir, there is no quarrel for you to engage yourself in."

She found herself waiting for a reply and a bewilderment that she was so... 'welcomed.' Eyes like those, as of now, full of humor and jovial thoughts never fell on her hollow form. Only malice and hatred placed her in their spotlight, a dark spotlight.

"How strange things can be sometimes," she stated to herself, "How strange indeed."

She suppressed a yawn as she moved her left shoulder blade and cracked it soundly. "Tell me, TickTick, what brings you to such a place? Away from mechanical genius and the scientific metropolis?"

Vis’tal growled lowly when Ticktick and her spoke, showing its un-trust towards the girl that had presented herself, just over the hill. Unhooking its arm from Ticktick almost completely, its hand still bent around him. Looking over the woman’s features with a keen interest and distrust still set on the fact that she HAD to be hostile. It braced its leg behind itself when she took a step forward, putting itself a bit closer to her then Ticktick.

“Aenge…” It said brutishly when it tried to speak her name, finishing with a certain malice, “Nov’vendos…” When it heard her apology it flipped the switch on the end of its blade, the hum coming to a slow stop, the blade held still. Dropping to its side, still ready for the conflict it thought it would face.

“Thicktick, sov’en!” It blurted out, nudging Ticktick, no emotion but anger in its eyes.
(Yay! Bad post!)

|-laughs to herself- Axis, I just noticed your cute little signature. ^__^|

"No trust in a woman, sir," she asked, her voice low, though it held no emotion. She'd realize by now that the creature did not speak the common tongue. "Shall I pose as you look at how dangerous I look," her sarcasm was knack she could not rid herself of, but it was irresistable, the strong brute intrigued her so with his temper.

"That's right. An...ge."

Though she knew she was strong enough to go against him, she was more than relieved to see his blade fall. As his outrage made her smile. "Funny creature," she whispered humorously.

Ticktick scratched his head in an offhand manner, his ridiculous grin remaining strong between the conflict of his friend and this newcomer. His eyes clicked once more, reducing their intake of light to negate all the colors he saw. This made it easier for him to scope out certain details of Ange that he might have missed, his gaze sweeping her up and down.

"It was by accident. I was looking for Maria and then I typed something into this computer and then, WHOOSH, I was set down here. I'm not entirely sure how it happened or where the program came from."

Returning his optics to normal, he patted Vissory on one of his protective plates, trying to soothe the beast. In a voice as low and comforting as he could muster, he tried to reduce the likelihood of Vis'tal attacking the new woman.

"Vissy, I don't think she's going to hurt us."

Vis’tal whimpered, pushing its plate up against his hand as he petted it, wanting to let him know that he wanted to strike, but would refrain, for now. It kept the blade at its side, still concerned for his and its own welfare, whoever she was she didn’t look friendly, or at least it thought she didn’t.

“Thicktick, ‘arefull…” It whispered, a soft yet deep tone coming from its chords, “Voman...” It muttered again, finally stepping backwards, lowering its head, giving way to the peaceful exchange, it seemed so unlikely. It hoped that Ticktick was right, because if she attacked while their guard was down the results would be far less peaceful.

"Maria?" She raised a brow, "You're creator maybe? Funny how things work I suppose..."

She breathed deeply and fell in a crossed-legged sitting position. Leaning back on the palms of her hands, she watched the clouds with watchful eyes. She wasn't friendly, she was sweet, kind, or even caressing for that matter. She was just a very strong and lonely tortured soul that aided innocence in anyway that she could. Anyway possible...

The glint of the creature's sword maybe her fingers twitch with thickened aggitation. Far less peaceful indeed.

"Yes, Maria created me. I hold her very dear.."

Ticktick's hand slowly slid over his fake heart. The incesant pumping up and down of cogs and springs where his heart should be. The slow ticking and tocking of the pedulum that timed his very life.

"You may say it is.. funny that a thing such as I hold something dear. But Maria was like a mother to me. If I was given a way to have her back, any way at all, I would jump at it. Even if it stops this heart of mine."

But Ticktick really had no notion of 'death'. It was just another word in his vocabulary that meant 'absense of life'. Technically, Ticktick was already . He was not living, breathing, nor growing. Based on the information that was given to him, he was never alive. So when saying that he would die to see her again, he gave little thought about it. It was just a fickle matter, in his eyes.

The girl blinked, turning her blue eyes in the direction she was passing. She heard voices and tilted a head to the side, her limp tattered sack over her shoulder as she paused. Ears twitching, the young woman listened a little bit longer, before contemplating weather to move or not. She thought about the former and moved a foot infront of the other.
