OOC> If you must, Tetsuya. We shall miss j00.
Stillis didn't even bother to wait around for anything else-he didn't give a damn about the Alistair freak, even if he had helped him to the Inn. All the selfish foxwolf wanted right now was to waltz up to the bar, ask for a large drink, get drunk in the process of drinking it, start a fight for the hell of it, or something like that. So without any warning, he got up from his bed, walked...or rather more appropriately, strode out of the room, went to the bar...and well, did exactly what he had mentally planned to do. "Oi, you!" he growled offensively. The bartender swiveled around on instict, then pointed to himself and took on an expression of puzzlement as if to say 'who, me?'. "Yes you. Largest drink you got." grunted Stillis in an outrageously disrespectful manner. The bartender leaned forward, so that he was a hair's breadth away from the foxwolf. The big man snarled, eyes glowing with anger. "Of course," he breathed menacingly, "anything you say." |

The crazy man simply blinked and followed Stillis down the stairs and to the bar silently. He was oddly quiet; his lips never parted. However, his eyes were a different story. They were constantly darting about, observing everything. They took in the bar with a quick and intelligent glance, then shot straight at the bartender as he took a seat beside his new buddy, Stillis. 'Ah, yes, good to see you making friends,' he grinned, speaking at last. He patted Stillis whole-heartedly on the back. It was a pat with a hand heavy enough to shove the foxwolf forward into the bar several times. 'I'll have whatever he's having, good sir,' he added to the bartender. |

"Quit doing that." growled Stillis simply, still too tired to start an argument. Irritably he shuffled along to the next stool beside him, in order to get further away from Alistair. He had hardly registered Xiel's fight-funny,he thought, how he was suddenly so unaware of everything around him. Much the opposite of Alistair. OOC> AAAAAH KILL ME. Short short post --; |

Lily watched silently, hand hovering over her sword hilt as Xiel escaped through the window. It said something about the nature of the town that the Inn very quickly resumed it's normal hustle and bustle of activity. Then Stillis came down the stairs, followed shortly by Alistair. Groaning, she rolled her eyes in exasperation, wondering just what trouble they would get themselves into after becoming fully and totally inebriated. |

Apparently, the psychotic redhead did not understand the concept of obnoxious. He did not realize that he was becoming increasingly annoying to Stillis. In fact, he simply could not perceive how Stillis could possibly desire to be left alone. Alistair’s company was highly sought after by many, you know. Very many. He scrunched his face into a scowl to match that of his foxwolf buddy’s and genially hopped down off of his stool. He scowled at the bartender noncommittally for a moment or two, then hopped along to the next stool. His scowl vanished as he took his seat once more beside Stillis. Perhaps he enjoyed being irritating. Perhaps he was in denial. Perhaps he was simply ignorant. Who knows? ‘Quit doing what?’ he asked with a quizzical tilt of his head, as if he could not fathom what was upsetting Stillis. |

"Quit..." the foxwolf trailed off. "You know what I mean." he rolled his eyes-Alistair was doing this on purpose, and the foxwolf knew-at least, he hoped he knew. He hated being wrong. As if in a silly little dance, he moved along to the next stool, to again get away from Alistair. It must have looked ridiculous for the bartender to watch-Stillis sitting down, Alistair next to him. Stillis shuffling along, Alistair following him. Stillis shuffling along again and Alistair-well, the foxwolf sure as hell hoped the other wouldn't follow him again. He grunted a quick thankyou to the bartender as the man passed him a massive mug of something that looked undescribably foul. It bubbled frequently. "Actually, I-I'm not thirsty anymore." stammered Stillis. |

Alistair, obviously, followed Stillis down the bar, hopping from one stool to the next. A playful little grin tugged at the corners of his mouth- but in all honesty, he was not doing it purely for the satisfaction of having annoyed Stillis into an absolute psychotic rampage. He was doing it because he wanted to. That was all. No real reason to anything, it seems. He recieved his own mug of liquid oblivion about the same time as Stillis did. He looked down at it, wide-eyed, and licked his lips expectantly. However, when Stillis decided he wasn't that thirsty after all... 'Really? O, then I'll just take it...' He reached an unabashed hand across Stillis and jacked his liqour, pulling it greedily towards himself. With an almost psychoic grin, he produced the lighter he had been playing with the previous night from his sleeve and flicked it a few times. Flick. On. Flick. Off. Flick. On. Flick. Off. Flick. He lowered it to the mugs, his face lighting up and his eyes sparkling malignantly as the alcohol burst into flame. ... What a damn pyro. |

OOC> But being a pyro is what makes Alistair awesome. \(^o^)/ Stillis's eyes grew wide as he watched-as if in slow motion-the madman swipe his own mug, take out his lighter, and bring it down upon the bubbling broth (unintentional alliteration. =p). The drinks caught fire almost immediately, and the foxwolf watched Alistair's gleeful-almost scary-face. The other's eyes reflected the dancing flames as the bartender screamed- "What in the world?" -but no words came out-they were muted over by surprise, shock and fear. Stillis leapt off his stool, grabbed Alistair by his collar and hauled him out of the bar into the outside world. The foxwolf's face jumped into the other's. "What the hell was that?" he bellowed. EDIT: -Blows up typos- |

Almost immediately Alistair became like a little kid. He took hold of Stillis' arm and clung there. The psychotic pyromaniac was now officially attatched whether Stillis liked it or not. He looked into Stillis' eyes with the most pitiful expression he could muster- and trust me, it was very sad and pitiful- and just slowly blinked at him for a minute. He wanted to get the message of desperation across before he spoke. 'I just wanted to throw it at the other yucky spirits and watch all the pretty red and orange and yellow and white dance and dance and dance.' The young man spoke with a completely straight face, as if what he was saying came from the logical mind of a completely sane speaker. 'And then,' he added thoughtfully, 'I might have danced with it...' ||OoC: I have to warn you, Sword: Stillis may have a new traveling buddy for a while. >P I think Alistair has grown attatched to him, so to speak. xDDD

OOC> Travelling buddy? That's awesome! =O Stillis couldn't contain his frustration-the young Alistair seemed to constantly change personalities-one second the young man would be a mad pyromaniac bent on setting things alight-the other, he would be reduced to a small child-and in those times, Stillis felt a mild affection for him. Annoyingly, it was now that Stillis felt that mild affection-he wanted to chuck Alistair into a nearby river but just had the urge to let the man off and tell him not to do it again. "You just...you just set an Inn on fire," he said awkwardly, "so, uh-be careful next time?" OOC> I think Alistair is the only one ever who has successfully found a place in Stillis's heart. =O |

((mmk, I'll do that. I'll see you guys around then!)) Lily smiled softly as her former companions talked together. One insane, the other an independent, their companionship might do them both a bit of good. Standing, she stretched and then carefully placed her drawing supplies and notebook back into her traveller's pack. After re-adjusting her swordbelt to lie more comfortably on her hips, she strode confidently to the door, pausing with one hand on the door frame only to look back at the two. She grinned and shook her head, then walked off into the night without a further look. |

Alistair discarded his childish, apologetic face and grinned. He released Stillis' arm and twirled around madly. 'I'll be careful- I'm always careful, you know me!' he sang out into the morning air. A few passerby stared at him awkwardly, ushering their children indoors. He returned to Stillis' side. 'So,' he said suddenly professional and businesslike. He straightened his clothing, brushing out a few wrinkles. 'Where are we headed next, sir?' He cast a surprisingly aware eye around the streets and buildings near them. 'Something tells me that this town might be slightly better off... without us.' He spoke as if the two of them were a pair now. And indeed, perhaps they were. Alistair seemed intent on staying with Stillis. It seemed a shame to want to be rid of him- he was entertaining if nothing else. And he could probably, at some point, be useful... in some way... They just needed to find the right place for him. ||OoC: -cough-anasylum-cough- x3 So it's official. Stillis' got a new buddeh. -prods Alistair-
