Vis'tal gave a bewildered grunt, flowing into a whine, it did not understand. Staring at Ticktick it turned its head, one large eye staring at him with concern. What was going on? If only vis'tal had learned more about humans or robots before it had been do rudely tossed into this world, full of hatred and malcontent. "Thicktick en harm?" It choked out, its jagged tusk twitching and rolling as it kept the awkward combat stance. Flickering it's wrist the blade came to a stop, still in it's hand as it stretched it's tiny mind for an answer. ((BAH! Short post, and for RP sake, Vis'tal isn't a robot, a genderless Alien to be exact.)) |

Ticktick then quietly shifted out of the hug the two shared, as easily as he had manipulated the previous handshake. Finding that he shared a sense of decency around Vis'tal-though not around Iro, funnily enough-he slipped on his pants and went over to Vissory with a smile on his face. The hand that had been split open moments before went to the top of the Lattener's 'head' and he petted it softly. Ticker was very fond of Vissory, as it had been his very first friend in this earth. And it understood his mechanical principles- in fact, the incessant ticking of his clockwork heart had been what had distracted Viss in the first place. If he'd been a normal human, Vis'tal might very well have destroyed him. So he moved closer to Viss, soothing it's odd joints and limbs in an attempt to lower his offensive front. "No, I'm not in harm's way, Vissy. Though I appreciate you coming to help me." |

Watching silently from the alleyway, Iro cocked his head again ins curiousity. This day was becoming stranger and stranger by the passing moment... Not that he was complaining, of course. He eyed the 'couple'- again, curiously. Did this robot know this ... creature... thing? How had they known each other? It was then that it hit him- he wasn't holding Ticktick anymore. It left him surprisingly with a empty, cold feeling- the robot had been like- as embarrasingly as it was to admit- like hugging a comfortable blanket. The rain pattered down now, again- harder than ever. Heh. Maybe the world was just a small colony of minuscule creatures in the sink- or shower- of some giant entity? Was the rain the water from a showerhead? Sure seemed like it. The sound of the rain was akin to the sound of hundreds upon hundreds of river stones falling and cracking and breaking against hard pavement- no, glass. Glass that shattered into tiny, tiny bits as the smooth, round rocks broke against its surface. Well, it would definitely explain the 'acid rain' if the city was actually inside a shower. ...disgusting. A deep, penetrating cold pierced his clothes and settled in Irooto's bones- like some slithering snake curling up in its den. |

Vis'tal grunted, turning its head just slightly to expose its soft gills, abosbing the rain and filtering it out easily. While doing so it turned its wrist, the blade folding back into it's rightful postion, things weren't as hostile it seemed, for Vissory could see no mark on Ticktick. "Vis'tal lost Thicktick," It bleated out, its tusks roating again as it's stomach begged it for food, the odd twidling keeping it at ease for this fast. Combat would have been nice, as it had been depraved for so many weeks, not only that but while humans were salty and boney, they still made a good meal. "No die?" It asked, pointing at the boy still in the ally way, perhaps the thing could still preform the only thing that came to mind. |

Ticktick chuckled and gave Vissory an awkward hug, his limber body trying to accomadate the rather sharp and dangerous edges of the hulking space-beast. "No, I'm not going to die. Not until the clocks stop ticking, Vissy. I promise. Sorry I lost you, beastie. I didn't mean to leave you alone." Still wary of the other occupant of the alley, Ticker turned on his heels and smiled apologetically at Iro and noticed how a cold shiver seemed to run through him. "Sorry, he's a friend of mine and kind of protective..." Ticktick blinked and tilted his head and then beckoned to Iro. "Hey, c'mere. You look freezing." Not waiting for him to comply, Ticktick stepped forward and slid his arms around the boy once more, making his internal temperate rise a few more degrees-reaching a solid 110. Any normal human would be deceased by now, with a temperature that high. |

"Oh yeah, you know, just a little bit protective, to the point where he just pulls a knife on anyone who's just messing around." Cold, indeed. The man was shivering in the cold, and had even wrapped his arms around himself in a futile attempt to keep the bitterly crisp cold from penetrating his thin clothes. ...He should've brought along a jacket- perhaps a hoodie, or a sweatshirt. The drifting mist that came along with the rain swathed over and poured steadily into the alleyway, briefly illuminated in intervals by literally shocking flares of lightning, followed by booming rolls of thunder. That's why Iro didn't notice the steaming- both figuratively and literally- robot that embraced him. It didn't feel like he was burning until too late, because his flesh had been numbed- and he was mostly alerted to his burning self when he smelled the stench of burning clothes. "ARGGHHHH!" Jumping out from the embrace and instinctively shoving the robot away, the man leapt back and practically slid on the rain-bathed stones that lined the concrete floor of the alleyway, his shirt in rags and parts of it already crumbling into ashes. |

Vis'tal let an odd croaking from its inside, the clicks echoing off the walls as it watched the two, attempting to understand what, exactly, they were doing. The rain didn't bother Vissory in the least, on it's homeworld it rained nearly all day and night, thus the adapted flesh and gills, it was a watery world, and for most humans, a watery grave. "Grev'vilik," It spoke loudly, making the observations in something none of them would ever know, Latteners weren't good at 'mental notes' which had impended their scientfic progression but they were still able to none the less. Besides, if no one knew it was mocking him no one cared. |

ooc/ XD. A hundred and ten is not enough for someone's clothes to catch on fire. But I'll let it slide.
 Ticktick let go with his fingers outspread, looking more curious than horrified. His hands then went to his hips and he leaned forward to inspect the damage. And then he shrugged. "That's never happened b'fore. Guess I upped it a bit too high, yeah?" And then he chuckled. "Sorry." He sounded sincere enough and he looked sincere enough, but there was something about him that made the apology seem lax. He never really got angry, surprised, or very upset. There had only been one time when he'd gotten truly furious. And he couldn't remember what he had done then. "You wanna borrow mine?" Ticktick asked, tugging at his shirt in attempt to make it up to the pitiful figure before him. "I really am sorry. I didn't know I was getting that hot." |

ooc; x_x; As I told you, eyes playing trixes on me D:. bic; Way to make a fool outta yourself, Irooto... The man thought sheepishly, as he attempted to redeem himself and pulled off the smoldering rags from his muscular body. He sort of rubbed his hands across his smooth, tanned skin in an attempt to create some heat via friction, but failed miserably, finally deciding to just hug himself securely. The muscles of his chest moved-rippled- as he drew in deep breaths, holding them in in an attempt to warm them up and savor them. "N-n-n-n-o-o. it'-s-s- a-all ri-ight. Y-your sh-shirt pr-probably wo-wouldn't f-f-it a-anyways..." His chattering teeth gave away the chill he was under, even if his voice was steady. He shuffled closer to the entrance of the alleyway, edging towards the wall. If that alien...thing... gorilla... whatever tried anything, he would be ready. D: Well, hopefully. |

Ticktick sighed and walked over so that he was standing in front of Irooto and in his way. He was not going to allow another friend to leave him and he wasn't going to leave another friend. So Ticker leaned against the wall casually and placed his hand, now cooled to a small one hundred degrees, on Iro's forehead. "Hey, relax. The head is where the central nervous system is in the human body. That's why, when you wear a hat, your whole body warms up. So just hold still till the warmth spreads, okay? Such a troublesome human you are..." With his free hand, Ticktick used his delicate fingers to slowly wipe strands of wet hair out of Iro's face. He took them one by one, gently tucking them behind his ear or making them stick to his temples instead of hanging in his eyes. Of course, Ticktick had no idea that the actions were intimate. He viewed them merely as a way for the other to calm down and to get warm. He took everything very logically and orderly, and almost apathetically to some extent. |

Iro froze in place as the robot placed a warm hand against his forehead- such a simple gesture, but one that held so much meaning for him. Inside, he melted like a pile of goo- he felt himself- he, Irooto, the playboy that made women swoon and small children quake in their shoes, tumbling head over heels for this- this random robot boy. The steady, tingly warmth spread down his neck and through his body like stepping into a heated bath, and his shivering muscles ceased shaking and started to rest and bask in that comforting heat. His eyes looked at those fingers, trickling across his forehead and wiping at his hair- a gesture so many people had done throughout the course of time- and that puddle of Iro-ness inside of him shrunk down more, melting into a void of bliss and calm content...ness. A single word seemed to wisp out of his mouth; "Tick..." |

Ticktick slowly took his warm palm back, shirking off his jacket and placing it around Iro's shoulders. He looked incredibly maternal for a moment but his expression changed quickly to concern as he stared up at the sky. The lightning and thunder was becoming more and more erradic and Ticktick could feel the static electricity start to curl into his hair. He patted Vissory on his arm and gave a much weaker grin to Iro, looking rather frantic. "Uh, I really need to take shelter right now. Too much metal in my body, I might get completely fried." He hooked his arm around one of Vissory's limbs and practically dragged the creature out of the alleyways, looking up at the sky every few seconds. He gave a hasty wave to Iro before hauling his quarry out of the alley completely. "I'll see you around, yeah?" And then he rushed around the corner in an attempt to find a building to wait out the storm. |

Standing there, stunned, the man watched blankly as the Or, it would be incredibly tight. Which altogether wasn't too pleasant. He stood there, sort of letting the gist of what had just happened sink in. Hm. He had just seen a boy that was a robot. And his 'fluffy' alien sidekick. Shaking his head, the man made to move out of the alleyway- he looked up, glaring irritably at the skies. With a fierce wave of his hand and a 'vvssszttt' sound, the man stopped the molecules of air from moving above him, so that there was basically a panel of hardened air that stopped the rain from dripping on him. He followed in the general direction of where Ticktick had gone- afterall, he needed to thank the boy for his congeniality and return the shirt. Er, jacket. |

Ticktick, in his fear of channeling the sky's wrath, let go of Vissy and broke into a run. He ducked inside a decrepit, abandoned building. The thunder came crashing down evern worse inside due to the echo the old room carried. Grafitti stained the walls and made it look like the room above it was crying colors. Ticker situated himself in a corner, squeezing in tightly and hugging himself. Even with his internal heat, he shivered as if he was in the Arctic and his teeth chattered. He looked like a child and at one point, when a particularly loud crash of thunder rocked his hiding place, he flung out his arms in an attempt to grasp an invisible person. "Maria..." He cried, rocking back and forth as black tears rolled down his cheeks, "Mariaaaa..." |

Scarcely sparing a glance for the bewildered-looking alien, Irooto moved into the house, unfreezing the air atop his head with another wave of his hand. After a quick search revealed Ticktick in a corner bawling and rocking, the man paused and crept quietly over, stopping about a yard or so away. Crouching down and approaching slowly, the man took off the jacket that the boy had kindly lent to him about 30 minutes ago, shaking water off it and securely draping it across the robot's shoulders. "Aw, don't cry... It makes me feel really stupid when someone's crying and I didn't cause it." ooc; -omgwtfnubpost- >_> -goes back to Charmed- |
