Well, I finally gathered the nerve to make a new profile, even though it'll probably end up dead. Like teh last one.

It's interesting to see what's happened since I got my old account canned of inactivity. Don't bother, though, bringing an opener to it or my charrie: I feel too rusty and old to role-play much anymore. Instead, I've fallen into doing tid-bits of poetry and the like. Takes a bit less mental pressure. :$ Something I need to be careful about, seeing we're into the final stretch at our school, and then it's good 'ol HS... :faint:

I pray there won't be another "Freshman Beat-Up Day" like there was for the last bunch of fresh meat- freshmen. Freshmans? Bleh. Yea, you can see why I swapped my writing gears. :-/

Though, seeing probably nobody remembers me, I used to be Flostin (Flotsin?), one of those hopeless Neopian role players back when it started becoming a real cesspool. Back when it mattered if you were literate, semi-lit, or illit. For some reason, this place just won't get out of my history memory for FF, so if I just randomly look for somewhere to vistit, it acts like a ghost, hanging right below my url bar. @_@ Corny, yea, but that's as close as I could get any analogy.

May we never forget what we were, lest we find ourselves back at the start once again, for we shall only have our memories.

I remember your name. =o
after a long time of solitude, after the many steps taken
away from one's kind, toward these other kingdoms,
the hard prayer inside one's own singing
is to come back, if one can, to one's own
a world almost lost, in the exile that deepens,
when one has lived a long time alone.
-"When One Has Lived a Long Time Alone" by Galway Kinnell; excerpt
