Here is the skinny on what happened. Remember when I said there was a line drawn in the sand. I drew the line. The only thing is, during the last tribal council, when we blindsided Tony, I forgot to get to Sierra and Julie in time. I attempted to play damage control with them. They said it was good, however, I never gave it a second glance. I was too trusting. Adam and the women plotted for me yesterday. I felt too comfortable. They had their mind up before the challenge that one of them was going to throw it. That throw came from Adam. As clearly stated in the instructions, you have two minutes to post the sequence. Adam took three minutes (as noted in the time stamp). Once that happened, I scrambled like the dickens to get Adam out as I had it figured out. The only thing is, there was no undoing what I had done earlier. Diane voted with the tribe to benefit her game (and told me about it). Very noble thing to do! Rudy and Diane were my alliance, and it is my own fault that I am here in Ponderosa. The best part about my vote out was this...THE TRIBE SWAP!! I knew Rudy was going to jump on it...and so glad he said Diane as well, and she agreed! Now...it will be a new CORK FOUR! Rudy, Diane, Bubba, and Joel. If not me, Diane is the only other person I would have wanted. So, with that being said, here is to my final four...RUDY, DIANE, BUBBA, AND JOEL!!! Brobst, you made my Survivor Dream come true. Let it be known that you, Lucky, and this cast are now part of my family. Feel free after this game is over to message me. |

To be clear...this is the best way to go out. I have seriously been on the game since the vote out and there were some really kind words. Adam...well played sir! Beer from me soon! |

Myself or Lucky will probably ask something along these lines in Ponderosa tomorrow (figured it'd be easier once you and Tony can start comparing stories and such), but I'm also curious, were there other things that lead you to think the challenge was thrown....... or is it just about Adam's mugshot post? |

Well, it all starts and ends with Sierra and Adam. I sent her a message where I state, in not so many words, "Give me the opportunity to fix it. If I don't, vote me out." I did this KNOWING that I had planned on "bouncing the check". Apparently, so did she, and that was all the ammo she needed to formulate the plan with Julie, Adam, Cirie, and Diane. They talked about throwing the challenge all day yesterday (I imagine as it was my anniversary). They had it all planned from the start. The way I figured it out was the mugshot post. They communicated with me all day today. So, good on them for knowing that this is how I operate. Sometimes, you get so predictable that you become blind to what is going around you. Rudy and Diane were trying to give me subtle hints, but, I apparently needed to be beaten across the head with a baseball bat to get it. Can't say this enough. You have to play the game! I played my game...and apparently, a couple other people's game's too as a "meat shield" (Man, I miss Rudy!). Of note: I am so happy you did not typecast me as Rudy as I am an actual Navy Chief. I think I would have gone insane with being a character who plays his normal job without going "Chief ___". |

You might re-read the #BAM posts I made in your Confessional recently. I obviously don't give "hints" in Confessionals....... but I definitely want to know how people are operating since I'm writing about our Ireland story like 24/7 sometimes. But as a true first-timer, it can be hard to know at first how the pace of these things go and how trust is built and such. The perils of the social game. It truly can be a fascinating psychological study, which is perhaps why I'm still hosting these games after 8 years. ![]() Plus, they're just too fun........ even when y'all go haywire on challenge instructions, he he |

So true!!! As noted in the goodbye messages before you cut the PMs, they really were tactful in the way they wished me well. It is what it is! Completely enjoyed every second! Honestly thought I would have made it a lot further... But, that's the way it crumbles sometimes! And that's okay. |

I will be on tomorrow around 6:30 CT (if, of course, I don't have some crazy stuff happen at work). Can't wait to compare the story with Tony. I am interested in hearing his version. |
