Todd doesn't even realize that he was victim of the same trick by Julie that landed most of us here.
Her number one move seemed to be to forward a message / convo about someone else and use that to simultaneously tear those people down while making her look more trustworthy for coming forward with the info.

Of course, she probably used that tactic over and over, because it Worked!

She never did with me. Huh. Intriguing. I only heard about it when Cirie & Rudy mentioned it to me.

Yea she tried that with me once, too, but the message was all choppy and didn't make sense so I honestly didn't read it all haha.

Ugh I have way less respect for Julie after learning that. It's WAY easier to turn someone when they forward a whole damn message. That's just a lame way to play it in my opinion.

I think it was more insidious than that.
I think she actually worked to create those conversations and then use them to her advantage.

I forwarded quoted convos often myself but that was mostly because it was the only way to do a "group chat" but I always let All parties involved know ai was doing so.

But then I am sitting here with a black bandana and Not in the Final 2  :D

WOW- Todd had a terrific response for you Brooke. And cleared up a few things for me as well.
For me Todd wins this round.

This is a great Final 2!

It's pretty obvious to me Todd had a lack of awareness of peoples messaging timing thinking that Diane approached him late. One of the things I was very conscious of was peoples messaging patterns and I assume Diane was on her normal timing. Julie being the paranoid checked her messages constantly so of course she beat Diane to the punch. I think he missed an opportunity not giving Diane more serious consideration.

Zeke, there will be some more overlap once we get to my question.

Right, there are instances for forwarding or at least copy/pasting a quote.

But like forwarding our entire message chain on to the person being targeted, near the end game when everyone is discussing everyone?

It seems lazy and weak and just not impressive to me. Now granted, I definitely was saying we needed to vote for Todd. But convincing him of that by using a fully forwarded message? That just doesn't sit well with me.

Haha yeah, for Todd's part, my question was pretty close to the information he already shared from Brooke's question. But still did a nice job of varying the response.

Again, I came to him F6 and suggested it. Then at F3 waited the day before. I waited because #1 he stopped talking strategy with me. #2 I didn't want to seem to "beg".

But, if I would have started earlier with him & toned it down with Julie...I might have had a chance. Since he didn't give me the response I was looking for, he was right, I wanted him out. Good move on his part.

Didn't sit well with me either way back at the Ozzie vote, which was when I first started to distrust Julie. But she was part of my numbers (whose alliance Wasn't she a part of?!) so I tried to get past that.

When she started doing the same with Cirie and then about Brooke was when I realized what she was really doing and that she wasn't "with me" at all.
Which is when I tried to talk with you Zeke and with Rudy.
Rudy was the only one who really was willing at that point to discuss strategy with me, somI as on board with him to get you, Zeke, out.
But then you won immunity and I still couldn't get anyone else to vote for Julie (I knew they wouldn't vote for Todd) so I ended up going home.

But it does explain My vote for Julie when I left in case you were wondering.
It wasn't a "bitter" thing, it was a hopeful Wakeup call.

LOL NOW she wants to honor her word.

so I decided to honor my deal with him and make my case to all of you.

But, I get it, she never made a F2 with me.

Good answer from Julie. I do like this line "But I felt that if I were to win this game based on merit alone, that I should be able to beat either of them. I believe I played the better game than Todd, so I decided to honor my deal with him and make my case to all of you." Great confidence, though I don't know if that's the smartest stance. One of those classic Survivor dilemmas.
