So for those who haven't yet divulged, go ahead and tell us when and why you started shipping Jori? I'm curious to see how similar and or different these tales may be.

I have to say JessaySauce and AccioJori got me into it. I hadn't given any thought to Victorious ships but they were raving about it so I started paying attention and realized how good of a ship it was. Then, I remember, we asked you to ship Jori and you were like "Are you daft, man? I've always shipped Jori!" I may be paraphrasing. Speaking of which... what's YOUR story? :O

I can't recall exactly; I don't think I saw the episodes in the exact order (I know it was a while before the pilot), but it may have been Stage Fighting or Jade Dumps Beck for it to pique my interest, and Wokstar to solidify it. For me it was between Jori and Cori for OTPs, then I realized how much interesting potential Jori had, and how much they are actually more alike than some people tend to think. Either way, it all started to add up from Jade's "confession" in Stage Fighting, Jade running to Tor for help, and of course, seeing "love" from both sides in WokStar.

I think I was kind of keen on Jori in season one merely in passing but season two, as most people seem to have already said, really solidified this kind of flirtatious bond between them.

So my when probably really started beginning then and my why was... a healthy mix of their chemistry and my girlfriend working her Victorious magic to make me tune in regularly.

Vampire I did work, son... girl.

Anywhoo... Jessay started shipping them at the end of Stage Fighting, and I think I've mentioned this before elsewhere but I'm going to be repetitive because I love them/that scene so much. Their dialogue is absolute perfection... I think I'll make that my sig, actually. I just love how surprised and confused Jade is over Tori not ratting her out to Lane or Sikowitz, and then them dancing at the end? Askdjaljdfdfdjkg. My heart. It's just so adorable and I couldn't not ship them after that episode. Of course we got Wok Star a few months later and I was a very happy shipper girf.

I started to OFFICIALLY ship Jori only a few weeks ago but way before that, I was always a bit skeptical when it came to Jade and Tori's relationship. Whenever they hugged... I'd go nuts. During iParty with Victorious, when Jade gave Tori a piggy back ride, I pretty much died. I don't know, I guess I always shipped them without even knowing it. Anyway, a few weeks ago I came across this Jori filled tumblr blog and that's when I realized that I HAD to join the Jori Ship because it felt so right. haha.

p.s. and I don't know why but when Tori asked for Jade's dress during The Great Ping-Pong Scam... I just died... like... seriously died and came back to life. I don't even know why.

AH! Now that you say this I totally remember that it was The Great Ping Pong Scam when I officially started taking note of Jori, before then I didn't care about Victorious ships either way. Jori dress sharing brought me over.

Dress sharing definitely was the first time I was like "OMG, Jori totes exists." I don't think I was paying a whole lot of attention early on in the show with eps like Stage Fighting.

That dialogue at the end of Stage Fighting, I see now, is just so totally perfect though. It's a lot like iKiss to be honest. They are so totally "OMG I love you" I can't even express. <3

I think we all seem to agree that the end of "Stage Fighting" was a monumental Jori moment. Personally, it's what really got me interested in the general dynamic/relationship between Jade and Tori.

For me, I've never shipped a slash ship before so it took me a while to ship them more than just as friends. But Season 2 really had me believing something might happen (despite the slim chances of canon), and get excited of Jori moments (such as the piggyback).

^^ArcWeldJori - it's funny you bring up iKiss because I'm a Seddie fan and often people make the *mistake* (IMO) of saying how similar Seddie is to Beck/Jade when if you really think about it, Seddie is a LOT closer to Jori. (opposites, frienemies, etc.)

I started shipping them pretty much just like ArcWeldJori did. I knew about Jori but I didn't pay attention to their scenes until I saw all of the things that people were saying about them

I actually found out about Jori, from shipping Cam. I never really watched Victorious so I thought to myself, 'I wonder what cool pairings could be on that show.' and I started watching it, but more closely. I figured out what pairings are what, and I liked Cade at first, but I also did like Jori, just not as much as Cade, but then as Jori came through the light more, and I started shipping that more, but the moment I started actually shipping Jori was that scene in Stage Fighting at the end.

I got into Victorious kinda late (Around March this year)

I was told about Jade first so i was immediately attracted to her character, I would say after watching Stage fighting, I had a little shipper thought in my head. Jade Dumps Beck kinda tied the knot for me. The whole interaction between them is so cute. Tori was the only one Jade went running to for help and it's what glued their just starting friendship after stage fighting :)

I was late to hop on the boat. Jori didn't really stick for me until iParty with Victorious (which I find especially more amusing for the pure fact that the piggybacking was totally a Liz/Victoria moment, and not a Jade/Tori one...but it's what made me rewatch and analyze every episode for Jori before it). Originally I read Cade fan fiction, because I love everything Liz/Ari, but their real life has a lot more material than Cade does in the new season. Since Cam fan fiction practically dropped off the face of the planet, I was forced to seek my slash fix elsewhere, and Jori has been a stunning replacement.

For me, I started shipping Jori from the episode 'Wok Star'. Mainly because I marathoned Victorious up until Wok Star aired in America. Then I watched that episode, knew something was going on, so then when I re-watched a few earlier episodes for pleasure, I immediately started noticing Jori moments that I had missed. Wok Star honestly made me see just how much Tori wants Jade to like her and sealed the deal on this fandom. :)
