A world within a dream, the dreamer who manages to dive into the sea of their soul while in their dream will come to the place which represents their heart. It is composed of several enormous, illuminated stained-glass pillars known as "Stations", rising from unseen depths.

To reinforce the dreamlike setting of the Dive to the Heart, the dreamer reaches it by falling into an ocean. However, instead of drowning they find that they can breathe, and land upon an ocean floor which erupts into doves, revealing the first Station.

A world that is a town floating in the clouds. It has known nothing of war, only peace. It is the destination the Star Ocean brings travelers to when they seek a truly peaceful and safe location, similar to Traverse Town. Despite the calm town, there is a castle that overlooks the whole town in the north. The town looks very similar to Traverse Town in design and technology, although it seems to be situated on a permanently floating landmass.

As its name implies, Twilight Town is stuck in endless sunset, with its sun always in the same position in the sky, never rising nor setting. It rests exactly between the Realms of Light and Darkness, meaning many who are neither find their way here. Although often the sight of monsters and battle, it is a quiet and peaceful town where kids are normally safe to run around and play.

A planet that is so beautiful and tropical that is used as a resort. It lies in the Realm Between after being pulled from its original location by a rift. This works in its favor, however, as it sees literally no trouble from any kind of enemies, making it the perfect vacation spot.

A vast wasteland where the Keyblade War raged, tearing apart an entire world as Masters fought over Kingdom Hearts and the x-blade. What remains now is a great graveyard of rusted and destroyed Keyblades, their Masters long dead and forgotten.

Lanes created between worlds to aid a Keyblade Wielder in reaching other worlds where their help is needed. Though these paths and gates are only traversed by Gummi Ships, they are not free of dangers as Heartless also have Gummi Ships which they use to attack any who pass through the gates.

Pathways that can be opened via the Keyblade and entered through portals. However, these paths are filled with darkness and can only be safely traversed when protected by Keyblade Armor and riding some manner of vehicle summoned by the Keyblade. Unfortunately, Gummi Ships have no proper protection in these Lanes but they are the only means of reaching certain worlds that exist on farther reaches of the Realm of Light.

Radiant Garden, once known as the "city of light", was a beautiful city of gardens and fountains that lied below the Hollow Bastion, a glorious castle kept by a loving king, Ansem the Wise, and his apprentices. Much of the history of the castle is unknown, other than that Ansem ruled from it. While it has regained its previous beauty, there is still the scent of darkness in the air.

A world where many heroes and villains gather from different worlds to clash in the ultimate contests of strength and cunning. The Games are held and observed by Philoctetes, a minotaur famous for training the demigod Hercules.

A post-apocalyptic world which has begun to see a turn for the better. While many people still live in underground shelters known as Havens, Iwatodai specifically has become a flourishing beacon of hope due to the prolific number of Persona Users residing there.

Once a single research facility, it has expanded into a massive area located outside of Tokyo, Japan, for the development of Gear weaponry and also training the forces of the Aube Union of Countries. Alongside this, it also helps with reconstruction the cities of Japan while preserving the old, traditional areas with only the very basic repairs that do not introduce new things into their architecture. The Bio-Domes built far into the future on the surface of Luna. It is the birthplace of the fighting machines known as Gundams. Years after the end of the war, the Domes have expanded into several more domes that include a hydroponics location and many other services.

The shore of the ocean which lies between the Realm of Darkness and the Realm Between. Many who become lost on their way through either realm end up at this place and eventually fade away. Despite this fact, it is said that it is the one place in the Realm of Darkness where one may find a Door to the Light.

The deep areas of the Realm of Darkness, containing what remains of worlds consumed by darkness. Amongst these ruins lie the precious Kingdom Hearts which many have sought but none have ever found.

A cathedral once populated by the Seeker of Darkness under the guise of Rone Xaht. It now rests beneath the light of Kingdom Hearts although it is doused in darkness. It rests at the end of a winding path, sitting in a pure blackness that has a constant white snow falling about it even though the snow never seems to build up on whatever is solid.

The cathedral itself is an ivory white, bearing a tall door similar to the Door to Darkness. It possesses many windows although they bear no stained glass like a normal cathedral, and the floor is a reflective white marble. The chapel area is round in shape and has a dome overhead that also lacks glass, allowing the light of Kingdom Hearts to shine down into the cathedral.
