A man tapped his hand nervously against the side of his desk, obviously a room filled with merits and badges of old wars and achievements of his past. He was clad in an ancient armor, the helmet bristled with horse hair along the top, and strapped across the upper lip like a mustache like a samurai. This man, however, was not. He was a shinobi, a highly respected and dignified shinobi who was running the inside operations of The Underground; a secret underground group of clans that were trying to take down the Samurai who had fought them out of their own village and banned their way of life. He was clearly old, his long, gray beard tied in traditional-fashion down his chest plate. He looked towards the door as it swung open, his assistant stepping in.

"Lord Daisu, the Hyuuga leader has finally arrived." Said a man dressed in dark greens. He was very tall, and he had a long scar along his neck, clearly a mark of the Samurai battles. Daisu stood up, a smile growing across his face.

"Immediately, Chuunin Shouyuri, and make sure our guest is comfortable." He pushed his chair back with the back of his legs and stepped to the side of his desk, his armor surprisingly making little to no noise at all. He pulled his arms behind him and let his assistant bring in the guest.

The aged Hyuuga stepped into view, silently pushing his cane into the dirt with each hesitant step. A small regiment of like-born children thralled behind him. His right eye covered by an eyepatch, his hair piled around his shoulders, face cleanly shaven. Stern wrinkles framing his nose as he and his flank boldly stepped within the confines of the Underground. He met the chuunin half-way, veins bulging around the black patch of cloth, he seemed to have located the young man that way. He offered a wizened smile as his thrall scattered into the Underground casually, making themselves at home for the moment as he followed the Chuunin named Shouyuri to a door. The veins flanking his patch melding with his pale flesh before he nodded to the young man, hoping he'd survive until their next encounter before entering.

The Hyuuga calmly entered the well decorated room, noticing the man he was supposed to meet was a Samurai in appearance, though he knew that a spy wouldn't be so stupid as to wear his native garb during a meeting with the enemy so he relaxed his guard, smooth palm stroking over the pommel of his cane. The dark wood was sturdy, the pommel shaped like a gaping lion's head, fangs shown proudly. The lion's chin lacked detailing, instead featuring a comfortable smoothness to rest the heel of his palm against when wielding the said cane. The clan leader was dressed in white, flowing garb, the sleeves hanging down like a monk's. The mark of the Hyuuga Clan emblazoned upon the back proudly as he curiously narrowed his eyes before dipping his head respectfully. "Lord Daisu, I've heard very little about you..." He noted casually, stepping toward one of the many displays of honor, reading the earned merits with his one good eye. "Though, I'm starting to understand." He offered idly.

Daisu sat in his seat, waving his arm in a gesture for the Hyuuga to take a seat. The room had only one chair in it, so he had hoped those behind him would not find it rude that he couldn't seat them all. He wasn't expecting so many to fill the room at once, after all, but he began to figure that it was good that the entire clan was in the room at once; he wouldn't have to repeat anything and everyone could get the information at once.

"Yes, yes, I am Lord Daisu, I run this entire organization with the help of elders, or, men with wisdom far beyond mine. I do what I can for my people, and if it's not enough, I find ways to help them through other methods." He unrolled a long scroll, hundreds and hundreds of names upon it all marked by blood. His face grew pale and hard as he did, his deep blue eyes grazing the Hyuuga's violently, but without sound. It was clear that there was a great pain in some of this man's history. His sharp expression slowly softened once more as he cleared his throat.

"I would like to get right down to business. I would like you all to join us, but I think you already knew that part. The part I don't think you know yet is the part involving our plans to take back what is rightfully ours as well as yours." He offered a sharp-pointed pen-like object. It was clear what it's use was when set next to the blood-stained scroll.

"I would like you to join our brotherhood and come back to Konoha, aiding us in our revolution against the Samurai." His hand shook nervously once more, his hands both clasping each other under the desk. He knew the Hyuuga could sense it. It wasn't the fact that the Hyuuga were there, or the idea that they might never take back the village, it was the many clans that had rejected his offer and died to the Samurai on their own. The many who did take his offer and died to the Samurai. More-so, however, his own clan that died to the samurai...

The Hyuuga elder nodded, looking back to his thrall of clan mates. They sat cross legged in file behind him, the end of his cane pushing the chair to the other end of the room as he painfully lowered himself into the same sitting position, laying his cane across his lap. He sat in the front, to his right behind him was a similar looking Hyuuga with short white hair and brimming with youth. It was eye catching due to their likeness but the Hyuuga Elder's life would attest otherwise. He watched as the Samurai clad man handed him a pointed pen and scroll. There were a number of names scrawled upon the scroll in their own blood, forming a pact within the confines of the ancient paper.

Without hesitation he gently glided his chakra forward to pick the scroll up using a gentle breeze and into his left hand. He set it aside for a moment to take up his cane, the pointed end quickly slipping under the side of the pen before with expert poise the pen was made to roll down the length of the wooden walking stick and into the elder's hand. His skill was unquestioned though it had reached this point during the years of isolation and steady judgement of unwanted travelers straying too close to their original hideout. He flicked the pen through his fingers before slamming his thumb into the point, a drop of crimson staining his lap before he scrawled his name: Tomajikate Hyuuga beneath the name before his, recognizing several names from when he grew up within his homeland, names he had felt kinship with, names he despised, names he wished he had never seen on this death sentence of parchment. With his Signature, his loyal thrall would dedicate their young lives to what he had just signed them into.

"Lord Daisu." Toma wheezed. "I can see that you are uneasy, you are afraid of something, something that has happened far too often..." He mused, his milky eye darting left and right idly. "I only wish that the Will of Fire had not been so twisted in the hearts of those who've been crossed from the face of history, foolishly diving into opposition divided. Such is not the way of Konoha, I'm sure that their clouded foresight has been cleared upon their annihilation, their departed spirits whispering to those like myself not to repeat their hubris." He nodded to his young company again, they stood along with him who had great difficulty doing so, though none moved to help him stand. "We shall make ourselves at home, if you would have one guide us to our posts."

Lord Daisu stood up and bowed greatly, on his knees next to the desk, in front of the old man. "Your alliance is greatly accommodating our need for the old ways. We wish to bring it all back in the name of Konoha and in the embrace of our brethren's alliance. You will find barracks for your clan if you would just follow my young assistant Shouyuri. Please make yourselves as comfortable as possible, even take a break from your training if you wish. We would like you to get used to our systems and customs." Daisu stood up and slammed his fist into a large gong next to a shelf behind him. Shouyuri entered the room quickly and bowed.

"Yes, Lord Daisu?" He said in a short voice, realizing Daisu's cheery demeanor meant the Hyuuga had signed into the alliance.

"Please bring our new allies to their rooms, and accommodate their needs, if you would."

Toma watched as Daisu humbled himself before the aged has-been of a Hyuuga. He felt a little sheepish, about the treatment, stroking the pommel of his cane once again. He flicked his head toward the students at his back, the formation was rather unorthodox but ingenious. There were a total of five Jounin, one posted on each corner of the squad with one more in the center. From the Jounin inward were Chuunin, the ranks dropping to Genin and finally student further to the very center where the Jounin stood like a pillar. They weren't trained to keep formation in battle but it was meant to have Jounin and Chuunin protect the Genin and lower ranks in case they were ambushed before falling into teams. The Hyuuga Leader nodded his head and turned to leave, his thrall stood until he had reached a certain radius from their formation, acting as the head once again. "Oh, and Lord Daisu..." He paused, his good eye turned toward the man behind him. "I understand that you are grateful for our help but try to be just a little more proud, there is a fine line between respect and weakness. Finding that line is key in maintaining the perfect negotiating position." He concluded before he followed Shouyuri, his formation following obediently behind him, it was unclear whether they moved on fear or sheer respect for the man.

"As long as I do what she says..." He said quietly after they were gone, sitting in his chair and turning towards a shelf of merits lined with medals and pictures of friends.

"...it'll be alright."
