Lord Daisu closed his door and locked it hastily, turning around and grabbing the flag that hung behind his chair and pulling it over to reveal a hidden port-way. The small corridor was dark and the only light was a strange blue glow in the distance. He knew, however, that the room was much bigger. He put his hands together and cycled through a few signs. A small wave of chakra engulfed him and began to blow like a breeze across the giant room. As it passed, torches began to light up one-by-one until the whole room was as bright as day. The room was more of a temple, there were four stone-floored arenas the size of a football field each around the center, and the middle area sate base for a large stone temple with a large statue of Buddha in the back, pillars upon pillars all made of stone. A bright blueish light sat in the center, at the base of the Buddha statue. Daisu made his way for this light, not foreign to himself, he knew what it was, or rather who it was. "I have returned, my lady. I have called a meeting amongst the clans and I wish to seek your guidance." Daisu sat on his left knee, his leg shaking and his beard wrapped around his neck in a loose-fashion. The woman gently nodded behind a mask that resembled a crow, the rest of her garb all white. Her skin radiated a blueish chakra that dusted everything around her. "I see you are trying, as well as succeeding, but this small feat is not going to win you the war." The woman did not move, she remained in a meditative position. Daisu took off his helmet, as he often did to this woman, and placed it in front of him. "I am sorry, I merely wished to know where we stood at this point, but you knew that much. I will gather more clans-" He began, but the woman shook her head. "We have enough clans, Daisu. What we need now is effective training." She stood up and raised out her arms, a large ball of chakra forming in her center. Daisu stood and peered into the orb. He saw visions of himself and the clans all together in a formation around the village. "In one year's time, the Samurai will send a large portion of their division back to Iron to bring the large portion of their precious metal to the main division. When this happens..." The lady changed the image to a group of shinobi attacking the Samurai that were carrying the metals. "Your shinobi will strike this carrion of Samurai, weakening them, but..." The image slowly changed to the image of the General of the 17th Division, standing on top of the General's Castle. "He and his personal platoon will remain. It will take all you can gather to defeat him." Daisu stumbled backwards, shaking wildly and giving her a frightened look. "But, one year is no time to train a whole village. Surely there has to be more time than that..." He couldn't even begin to imagine how he would be able to get the clan leaders to cooperate all on one term. It was nearly implausible. The woman closed her hands together, distinguishing the orb of chakra and gently falling back into her own meditative position. "If you are unable to organize the clans and train your pupils before this carrion occurs..." The woman stopped, Daisu was now gripping the sides of his helmet from fear, his fingers going numb from the loss of circulation. "Then the Samurai will win, and what you have of your village will be destroyed forever. The art of ninjutsu will be wiped from the history of the Fire Country." Daisu nodded and placed his helmet back on his head, taking a step back and bowing. "Y-yes my lady." He turned around and quickly made his way back to his office. He would have to hold a meeting - and it would have to be quick. He had to act quickly, the fate of the entire village as well as a large portion of the shinobi world depended on it. |
