Gust couldn't help but remember the last time he was with Alpha. The situation was the same, give or take a couple details. He saw himself in Nova, eager to take on bigger things. Gust is to him what Blade was to Gust, except Nova is also his second Alpha. Funny, he thought, laughing a bit It's funny how the universe works.

Gust walked down the streets of Canterlot, Nova following him as they made there way to the ship yard.

Nova observed his surroundings as it changed from urban city to the more rural ports and docks. He never had to come down here before. And being nocturnal as he was, it was never active when he was awake anyway. "So, do we have a plan? Or are you making it up as you go along?" He hadn't heard much of a plan at all, so he was curious to see how Gust would handle things, and what his own part would be.
"Maybe... It's time to forget..."

"I'm gonna make it up as I go, this time." He said with a smirk as he trotted further to the docks. "Just, follow my lead." They had entered the docks, Gust walked down it looking. "We need to find dock 61. So look around."

Nova nodded "Dock 61, ok." He said. He actively searched as they went along. Though for whatever reason, he wasn't seeing what they were looking for. "Uh, Sir Gust?" He started "I'm not seeing it. You sure we're in the right spot?"

"This is the only dock," He kept trotting along looking at the dock numbers. "58...59...60...? That's... it? Hm." He trotted to the end of the dock, staring at dock 60. "Hold on.." He entered dock 60, poking his head through the metal door. "Empty." He entered fully and looked around, his horn lighting up the room."

"Look around Nova, there has to be something in here."

Nova began searching the dock for whatever he could find that was out of the ordinary. So far, nothing that he wouldn't expect to see at a dock. Lots of rope, a few boxes of tools, piles of scrap from boats he assumed. It wasn't until he heard an unusual sound under his hoof. He looked down and pressed on the floor once again hearing the creak of metal. "Hmm... Ok, I'll bite..." he moved a ew small items out of the way and lifted what would reveal itself to be some sort of trap door. "H-Hey, Sir Gust! I think I found something!"

"Quiet boy!" Lance hushed. He approached the trap door and dimmed his light, there was more filling the room below. "Good job, now come one." Gust jumped done the hole, landing in the semi-darkness and dashing behind a pile of wooden boxes.

The room was dimly lit, but Gust saw the shapes of ponies and a gryphon down the ways. He sized them up, thinking of countless ways to take them down. But a different thought popped in his head. He turned around to Nova, "I'm gonna give you the reigns for a second. Tell me what you would do."

Nova cringed as he was scolded. Of course you need to be quiet moron. he thought to himself. He followed down the whole and regrouped with Gust behind the boxes. He was about to ask what the plan was when he was given the task of coming up with a strategy himself. "Me?" He whispered. He looked around, that griffin would probably be a problem, but less so if they could get rid of his backup.

"Well, if it were me," He started, still in a whisper so as not to be discovered. "I'd try and take out the ponies one by one in silence. Then I'd get the griffin under something heavy, like a big crate or something. Drop it right on him." The plan seemed sound enough to him.

"Well... yes and no." Gust said quietly. "They're too close together to take them out one by one. Should take them out all at once." Gust then jumped up on top of the boxes, his horn glowing with magic. His eyes surged again, turning the small walkway into a wind tunnel, causing everything in front of him to go flying at hurricane speeds to a stone wall.

6 bodies crashed into the wall, their bones breaking on impact. He jumped down from the boxes and trotted up the hall. "There we go! Come on now!"

Nova hurriedly followed Gust after that impressive display of magic. "Whoa!" He said as they passed the bodies. "So, is your specialty wind magic?" He asked as he followed through the hall. It would make sense, first the tornado in the pub and now the wind tunnel. Of course, Nova was sure that there had to be some things that he could do that Sir Gust couldn't. Like fly effectively for one.

"Picked that up didn't you? Yes, it is." He continued down the hall until it opened into a large antechamber. He peered around the corner, seeing ponies loading rather large boxes onto a boat. He quirked an eyebrow.

"Now what do we make of this?"

Nova stopped next to Gust once again. Those boxes were larger than what he'd normally seen in reports of drug and weapons busts. "They're pretty big... You think they could be trafficking ponies?" He asked, still watching the boat being loaded. "Should we stow away on the boat maybe? Or I can follow it from the air to find out where it's shipping to..." He suggested, just sharing his two cents.

"Don't get crazy on me boy. They would have larger boxes if they were shipping ponies. One's with air holes. Something bigger is going on here than just drugs. Stay here, wait for my signal." Gust dashed over behind a box, moving towards the opposite end of the hidden cove.

He was hidden, completely away from the traffickers. His body glowed with magic once again, levitating himself up in an updraft. He glided across the cove to the top of the mast of the nearby drug ship.

The lookout up there didn't even see him coming.

Oh... Great... He had to stay back again. He was getting pretty tired of standing in the background. But he stayed, albeit reluctantly in his place. And watched Gust take down the lookout in the ship's crow's nest. "So he can fly too..." He whispered to himself. He pulled his attention away from the knight and watched the traffickers again, making sure they were both in the clear.

Gust watched from up above the crows nest. The ponies were still loading the large boxes into the now obvious gryphon ship. Just then, a pony emerged from the ship flanked by a large black gryphon. Gust peered at the pony, leaning in to get a closer look.

Just then, he recognized who the pony was. It was the same one him and Alpha had taken down all those years ago. Anger trickled its way into his mind. It drove him mad, mad enough to jump from a top the crows nest and slam the gryphon on to the ground. He felt the bones crack underneath him as he landed, Gust then immediately tackled the pony leader on to the ground.

"How did you survive. Tell me! HOW!" Gust yelled while charging his magic.

And then, total blackness.

The Gryphon somehow recovered quickly and was left unscathed. He still had enough strength to pick up one of the crates and break it across Gust's body. He fell down the ramp of the ship, onto the dock where the other ponies circled around him.

They started to savagely beat on his unconscious body.
