Circle attempted to slink back into his home, having just walked around a bit with Glaive after deciding that their gender problem wasn't going to get fixed anytime soon. The pegasus opted to go and look to see if anyone knew anything yet, while Circle looked for some sort of cure in one of his many books. He took a few dozen off the shelf, and levitated them over to his favorite couch, starting with Supernaturals. It had the cure for the normal strain of Poison Joke, so maybe it would be able to tell him something about this.
After a few hours of unsuccessful search, he heard the ringing of the front door bell. The good news was that he didn't look much different as a mare, so nopony would ask any questions. He hadn't turned the corner around the bookshelves yet, but it was still best to greet whoever it was.
"Yes, welcome to Book Store, what can I help you with?"

Lance had finally returned to the book store, his temporary home. His long days of simple relaxation have been spent in isolation, without worry, only his thoughts and memories to accompany him. Simply relaxing was so foreign to the aged pegasus, Lance thought he wasn't even capable of relaxing.
On his return on the evening, he was greeted by a voice, one that sounded like a proprietor of the book store, but one that wasn't Wild. "Full Circle... What a long time it has been. I'm surprised I haven't run into you until now, considering you own this store." He could not recall Circles voice, so his aforementioned gender stunted voice didn't phase him.

Decades traveled over old roads. The secluded walk of the lonesome traveler, a warrior. The lonesome road is one that leads to wisdom, but at what cost?

Circle turned the corner and recognized the pegasus almost immediately. She'd only managed to gather a small force to help her rescue Wild from Livewire six years ago, but each member of that force was still fresh in Circle's mind, since she'd never gotten to pay them the reward she'd promised. After she returned home to Ponyville with the marewolf, the two pegasi that had helped her had all but vanished. It was a bit odd, but she wrote them off as being busy. Luckily, it seemed that Lance Skyrush had finally come back around.
"Ah, good day, Lance. It has been quite some time since last we met. I never got to properly thank you for helping me all those years ago."
Circle trotted over to Lance, completely forgetting about her gender problem for the moment. For her, this was a much more pressing matter. She held out her hoof to shake his.
"So, what have you been up to in the time since you left?"

"Good day to you too lad," Lance started as he laughed hardily, shaking Circles hoof harder than a normal pony would've, "I'm surprised you even remember my name! All those years, you haven't aged a day lad!"
He released his friends hoof, giving another laugh before he spoke. "There is no need to thank me. Just as I told Wild, just doing the just thing is reward enough! As to where I've been... I returned to traveling the globe, continuing to see the world. It's so large... So much left undiscovered."

That was a bit surprising to hear. Circle didn't get to talk to any world travelers, since most ponies in Ponyville stuck around town, and the immediate area. It might be worth asking Lance about a story or two from his journeys.
"The world is truly large. I haven't any doubt that you've been outside the borders of Equestria, if you do what you do, but why come back to Ponyville right now? There's not exactly a lot going on here."

"It's simple here," Lance stated, he took pleasure in the towns simplicity, such a change from the complicated foreign societies he's seen. "Nothing happens here. Well, not all the time, but still. It's quiet. A nice change from everywhere else I've been."

Wild yawned as she entered the Book Store, tired after a day of hard work. It was a good sort of tired, though. She felt sore, but she knew it was because she had put in a good effort, and she knew also that the soreness would soon enough fade and bring with it renewed energy and even greater strength.
Her nose immediately alerted her to the presence of ponies inside the room. Circle and Lance, in fact, but it was strange...it was like there was a mare inside as well. All she could see was the two of them, though.
"Circle! You remember Lance, right? He helped you save me back then!"
